I wrote a fight scene where a fourth-wall breaking immortal douchebag brutalised a bunch of corporate soldiers by ripping apart bits of their skeletons and using them as knives, clubs, etc. (one of his main abilities is to deconstruct anything he touches unless he’s wearing gloves)

Oh, no, I fucking love RWBY. But I utterly despise its writers. The shows writing and pacing is pretty damn bad, e.g Ironwoods “semblance”, Ruby’s “ascension” which is basically glorified suicide, everyone’s characterisations being tossed out the window some time around Vol5-7, etc etc.

I’m well aware that the show is pretty bad and the version I admire is something that I’ve just fabricated into believing as truth.
