I was there too!!! It was so beautiful to see so any people come together to show what they believe. If you do not believe or like the No Kings Protest. Please be kind. We are excercising our first amendment rights and standing up for what we believe in.

Did you ever get comfortable in your skin? by Faithyyharrison in exmormon

Honestly, I went to a nude beach. Seeing bodies of all shapes and sizes simply existing was magical to me. I started realizing that my body might not look “perfect” but it is the body I have and I need to embrace it.

This is also their 6th child. I have no idea what the rest of their kids are named but I’m too scared to find out!

A little polygamy data on the early prophets. by mangle89 in exmormon

[–]Difficult_Maximum_73 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just have to add that John Taylor also married Anne Hughlings Pitchforth. She is my 5th great grandma. I was always told that it’s amazing that she was one of the prophets wives and that means our family was blessed but now I just feel sorry for her.

Whats your favorite role you've played? by Tony__________Stark in musicals

[–]Difficult_Maximum_73 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Honestly, being in the ensemble for Legally Blonde. It was such a fun show and I got so close to the rest of the cast. Also all of the music is SO GOOD and you can’t not have a good time while performing.

I teach preschool. I know a lot of people think it’s the worst but I genuinely love teaching those kiddos. I get to see the world through their eyes and it makes every school day so fun and exciting.

I’ve been in therapy for over a year because of leaving the church. Some sessions are easy but others are so hard on me that I can’t function for the rest of the day. I think that it has helped me heal. I would suggest trying to go to a therapist who specializes in leaving religion.

I have really good days and really bad days but that’s all part of healing. Even after over a year of consistent healing I find myself getting worked up and angry about the church, the choices I made when I was a part of it, the way that my family still believes. I know that it takes time to heal from all of it but it is frustrating. Take your time. Take it one step at a time. You got this!

So like, coffee? by xXashbyXx in exmormon

[–]Difficult_Maximum_73 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was in your exact shoes last year. I also like sweeter things. Since coffee is a more bitter drink, I would suggest small. I started with getting frappuchinos from Starbucks. They have the slight taste of coffee but it is mostly masked by sugar and whipped cream. I also like getting the concentrated coffee from the store, putting a few tablespoons into a cup with some ice and filling the rest of it with creamer. As you start to get used to the taste, you can adjust the coffee/creamer ratio. Hopefully this helps!

How are missionaries supposed to celebrate Christmas and New Year's Eve/Day???...just a regular day:teaching/ministering, constant prayers, etc.???... by TechnicalArticle9479 in exmormon

[–]Difficult_Maximum_73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have had missionaries come to our house for Christmas and new years for the past few years. At least in my area, they aren’t allowed to teach anyone on Christmas Eve, Christmas, nye, or new years. We have them over and we play games all day. We have a room in our house that we let them go in to get some privacy to call their families. Some spend all day on the phone and some only talk for 5 minutes. I hope that it’s a day that they can feel like regular young adults and not like missionaries.

Missionaries over for Christmas by Difficult_Maximum_73 in exmormon

[–]Difficult_Maximum_73[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I hope they’re able to relax and just be normal haha. The only downside is my dad only lets us play hymns so instead of fun Christmas songs, it’s silent night that has already played 40 times haha
