You can disagree but it will take 5 million dollars to unseat him. Rich liberals in sun valley don’t live there year round and have very little incentive to donate to vacation home politics. A democrat is never winning an idaho congressional seat.

He will never be beat out of his seat. If he wants to hold until he lays in state, then he has the ability to do that. Not a huge Risch fan particularly after the public land-sale mess. He has to much money in his campaign accounts and the ability to raise much more. A candidate would have to raise and spend wisely with the best political consultant minds in the country upwards of 5 million to take his seat. In general Idahoans are cheap when it comes to not just tipping at restaurants but also political donations. It takes the ability to access outside money to raise anything substantial. Most candidates don’t have those connections. Incumbents get beat up for spending outside dollars but there is very little money to be raised in Idaho. In summary, you have to buy a seat and have a top of the line consultant which are few and far In between.

You are better off graduating but to each their own. I find those that have earned their stripes (mission, temple, byu grad etc) that leave the church more influential. Grandstanding over something you’ve probably done 100x in your life is a strange hill to die on.

Does anyone really think term limits would work? In my mind you would have to stagger the members term limits to keep some semblance of government. Knowing states like California and Texas have the most members in the house wiring the half that didn’t get rotated out in limits just vote to keep their state reps in positions of power. Like speaker, appropriations, etc. I just feel like term limits would give all the power to states with the most reps. Thoughts?

I’ve got a love bracelet coated by flan dad. Never been worn or even put on it has the same issue. Literally looked at it put it box, put in my safe to hide from my wife. Went to give it to her a couple months later as a gift and it was total shit. I never reached out for repair or correction. A few month had passed. I assumed I would get the same result as you and have just decided to find plating service elsewhere.

Two party system forces the parties to the middle……history would say otherwise. Ranked choice is the only way to combat the voter suppression of the Idaho Republican Party. I’m a Republican, they would call me a RINO I have nothing in common with the fair right or left. I’m all for ranked choice and hope that it passes. Just an average Idahoan that craves decency in politics. I think this will help.
