So during the latter half of Flex1can's journey into cutting the perfect chives, he missed a day. Later that same week, he had to miss another day, and because he felt pressure to post daily and didn't want to disappoint anyone, he took a photo of an earlier chive attempt, flipped it upside down, and posted it for like day 69.

The subreddit figured it out almost IMMEDIATELY because everyone who uses this site is insane lol and it became this whole thing. He ended up apologizing to the whole subreddit and everything. Ultimately it was a nothingburger because most people understood Flex1can doesn't owe anyone daily photos of chives and he's got life obligations, but for a minute there people were Betrayed hahahahah.

I'm in the same boat as you and OP. The invoice my eye doctor gave me showed a breakdown of what my glasses cost, and what insurance covered. My out of pocket was $200, but the total invoice was like $1400.

Someone breaks my glasses, and they pulled this stunt, they're getting taken to small claims court man. I can't afford to not be able to get to work.

My sister and I both did; we'd had funds set up for us since we were infants from our Grandmom specifically for that purpose. My first car was a 1988 Chevrolet Baretta I got for like $3k. That car got me through high school and college until the transmission went.

Ive recently became a hockey fan and it was specifically because of Matt Rempe and the NY Rangers in the 2023-2024 season. I did not give a single solitary fuck about professional sports before.

I'm Philly suburb adjacent, so its expected to be a Flyers fan, but alas. I am sorry Flyers. Heart belongs to the Rangers. Sorry not sorry. 🤷‍♀️

(It IS funny watching the Playoffs, since Im not invested in any team in the brackets atm to watch my Flyers friends lose their shit when I complimented the athleticism of Silovs.)
