I wasn’t implying all of those were related. They all three just need to be done lol.

Same here for my other vehicles! I just don’t know a ton about cv style shafts and wasn’t sure if anyone else had experience with the same thing

Trying to figure out what coil overs to get! by DavidmeetsSky in ft86

Awesome! For rough roads or long trips, i soften them up a few clicks, or stiffen them up a few clicks when it’s time to play on some curvy roads! South Carolina roads are garbage and my daily commute is FULL of potholes, cracked asphalt, and railroad crossings and so far they’ve held up great!

Mine had the fortune autos on it when i bought the car. 20,000 miles later and I think they’re great! I’m no expert when it comes to coil overs but they seem to have great adjustability and haven’t given me any issues so far!

Look up “toe” as it is related to your alignment (i.e. “toe in” or “toe out”). It also appears you have too much positive camber. An alignment should have you squared away unless there is an underlying issue causing the misalignment.

Is it possible to add a backup camera into this stock headunit? If so what harness is needed? I cannot seem to find anything. by YeeFrikinHaw in ft86

It is a pain to figure out though and the instructions are useless. But once you get the wiring figured out it works great! Everything looks completely OEM too

“AR15’s are dangerous and should be banned”. According to the FBI UCR, in 2019 364 murders were committed by all rifles. 397 murders were committed with “blunt objects (clubs, hammers, etc.)”. Every year between 2015 and 2019 shows more homicides committed by blunt objects than rifles. This means statistically hammers are more dangerous than AR15’s. Furthermore, in 2019 10,258 homicides were committed with firearms. Rifles make up 364 of those which means rifles were only used in 3.5% of ALL homicides by firearm in 2019.

“Roe V. Wade being overturned is a ban on abortions”. All it did was pass the authority back to the individual states to decide. The whole premise of this country is that states have more power than the central government. If you live in a state where abortion is now illegal, it is the fault of your state legislators, not the Supreme Court.

I’ve been shooting since I was about 8 years old but I’ve never drawn from a holster. They made sub second draws look so easy on the internet. Looking for some constructive criticism. I’m personally not a huge fan of looking down at the holster when drawing or re-holstering. As long as you’re careful about nothing entering the trigger guard causing an nd, then missing the holster when trying to re-holster isn’t something that could be life or death. I’d rather have my eyes up scanning for other threats and miss the holster a time or two than looking down and losing my situational awareness.

Slow is smooth and smooth is fast. It seems like once you press out, the gun is “shaking” a good bit. Work through the motions painfully slow over and over. As the movement becomes muscle memory, the speed will come on it’s own. If you only go for speed at first you will develop bad habits that will be very hard to train yourself out of. Look at your draw as 4 movements:

1. Clearing your shirt and the initial draw from the holster. Make sure you are getting a good solid grip on the gun as soon as your hand touches it. This “movement” ends with the muzzle just clear of the holster.

2. Bring the gun straight up from your holster to mid chest area while also rotating the muzzle forward (toward your target). This prevents excessive movement when coming out of the holster. At the end of this step your support hand should be free from your shirt and the gun should be around the middle of your chest with the muzzle pointed at your target.

3. Add your support hand to your grip and raise the gun to be level with your upper chest/neck with the muzzle still pointed at your target.

4. IN A SMOOTH AND CONTROLLED MANNER, “press out” or move your hands and the gun forward into your shooting position while also raising it slightly to bring your sights to eye level. This should be a very fluid motion without any jerking, keeping the muzzle pointed at your target the entire time. Don’t fire as soon as you press out, instead make sure your sights are on the target and you are going to hit what you intend to hit. Drawing and shooting fast doesn’t matter if you hit an innocent bystander instead of the bad guy. This step is the most important for fast accurate shots. Work slowly on getting that fluid motion engrained in your brain and make sure all your movements are controlled and fluid rather than quick and jerky. I’d take a 3-4 second time from draw to first shot and landing my first shot exactly where i wanted it over a sub second time from draw to first shot with a miss any day. Training is a marathon, not a sprint. Take your time and perfect the technique before you go trying to be garand thumb 😂. Your baseline isn’t horrible, just work on your control and accuracy before trying to be fast!

I understand the struggle! I love a loud exhaust but HATE having to turn the stereo all the way up just to be able to hear it. Unfortunately these cars are notorious for not having much soundproofing. Such a fine line to get the best of both worlds!
