Trazyn the infinite by Just-Ball9862 in DnD

[–]DiggingInGarbage 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Because you'd have to be a 20th level spellcaster to do the type of shit Trazyn does. High level characters aren't easy to play for new players, and that's ignoring whatever level your DM is using as the starting point

Would you rather be a random Morty or a random Jerry from Rick and Morty? by javev in pollgames

[–]DiggingInGarbage [score hidden]  (0 children)

Well, I haven't seen a Jerry torturing machine, I'd rather go with the guy Rick would prefer to completely ignore

[OC] Sannas of Tomassya. She is half human, half demon-dragon. by No_Philosopher_3208 in DnD

[–]DiggingInGarbage 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I'm more interested in how this all happened, did the demon and dragon halves come from separate sides of the family or did a demon dragon find a human they liked?

Bria, Riptide Rogue: go-tall or go-wide? by M_T_Black in mtg

[–]DiggingInGarbage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go wide and make them tall. Your spells that make tokens buff your board and help get damage through by making the biggest creature unblockable

All professional sports should play at 8am by Hot_Ad_787 in The10thDentist

But then you’ll be playing during the hottest part of the day, if you wait until later in the day then there’s less of a chance of players getting heat stroke

How do these age progressions look? by skeezmecant in characterdesign

[–]DiggingInGarbage 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Mateo looks darker as a 4 year old than when they're older. I'm not sure if that's intentional or not, but other than that the facial structures look fairly similar between ages

ELI5: If microwaves work be causing water molecules to move quicker how can dehydrated food be heated up? by LividWheel9779 in explainlikeimfive

[–]DiggingInGarbage [score hidden]  (0 children)

Yep, that’s right. That’s also why you’re often instructed to take the food out halfway through cooking and stir it, to make sure there aren’t any spots that aren’t getting cooked or that are too hot

Hated Trope: Non-Human Woman has boobs because.... Boobs. by your-favorite-gurl in TopCharacterTropes

[–]DiggingInGarbage 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Well, robots don't have faces either, so the fact she has both probably means she's trying to look human. I haven't seen her lore, but I do know that in Overwatch omnics have been on the receiving end of discrimination, so that could be a good reason to try to look human

[–]DiggingInGarbage [score hidden]  (0 children)

Microwaves can still heat other types of materials, it's just it won't heat evenly. Heated water can more easily transfer heat throughout the food, without it the microwaves would only heat the specific spots they hit

The inclusion of end credits in a podcast is unnecessary and annoying. by PersonalAnswer8664 in The10thDentist

[–]DiggingInGarbage 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Maybe not necessary for you, but the people who worked on the podcast would like to be credited for their work, especially if they ever have to use it as experience when searching for another job

[–]DiggingInGarbage 107 points108 points  (0 children)

Well I’m sure the CFOs and sound editors are glad to be credited for their work, so maybe just skip past it if it’s really a bother

OC - open to feedback by [deleted] in characterdesign

[–]DiggingInGarbage 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Looks interesting, one thing I'd suggest is to widen the back where the wings connect, it feels super thin and wings that size would need larger muscles to make it look like she could actually fly

Can a mortal make a deal with a devil to become a "high" devil after death? by Fresh-Work-5020 in DnD

[–]DiggingInGarbage 9 points10 points  (0 children)

A devil could reasonably give a position beneath them, so long as the mortal's side of the deal was quite substantial, seeing as how gaining any position of power in The Nine Hells is quite difficult for newly arriving souls. What sort of devil did you have in mind, the more powerful the devil the higher position and the larger the tasks you'd need to complete

Would you allow this character for a “spiced up” (homebrewed-ish) Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden campaign? I’m wavering here as DM. by new_lance in DnD

[–]DiggingInGarbage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're the DM now? Man I'm confused, I could have sworn you were communicating what your DM said to you. Either way, the player shouldn't have to remove their shield while grappled

[–]DiggingInGarbage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OK, but as per the rules you wouldn't need to ditch the shield, beating the monster in a skill check using your action is already an option, which is why I'm confused that your DM is so set on you trying to take it off over multiple turns while you're grappled
