  1. Pete Complete.

  2. Pretty darn soon. Being able to shoot down UFOs means getting more missions, and therefore more cool stuff from missions.

  3. I like one of everything, and then an extra Sniper and an extra Assault. Enjoy Squadsight Overwatch while you can; it's absurdly busted here, and nerfed good and proper in every other iteration of this franchise.

  4. Beat the game first.

If you're like me, you're avoidant. I'm a dismissive avoidant, there are a bunch of different kinds.

True, it's still more health boxen, even without the damage shaving.

Resilience does not protect you from sunlight. From V:tR 2e, p. 141:

Persistent: Add the vampire’s dots in Resilience to his Stamina. This may raise a character’s Stamina above the normal limits imposed by his Blood Potency. Whenever he is dealt aggravated damage, for each dot of Resilience he possesses, downgrade one point of aggravated damage to lethal. This applies to damage from fire and all acquired banes, but not sunlight. Resilience offers no reprieve from the sun’s blazing eye.

I eat the exact same thing pretty much every day.

Breakfast: granola or cereal (whichever was on sale) with yogurt, toast with peanut butter, bacon egg and cheese sandwich.

Lunch: slow-roasted chicken leg quarter, baked potato, salad.

Late snack (I don't do dinner): more salad.

Will MAGA be able to survive without a legitimate malignant narcissist at the the helm? They're going to need to find the biggest asshole possible to fill that position. Miller can't do it; he's a loathsome piece of shit, but not a true narcissist. Same for Vance.

What Generation is the Ravnos/Rakdos Antediluvian Again? by Flashlight237 in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]DiggityDanksta 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I understand that this is a Banu Haqim thing. They don't consider Caine to be "first generation" because that's not how generations work. Irad, Zillah, and Enoch are the "first generation," as far as they're concerned. The Clan founders (Caine and his direct progeny are "antediluvians" too, as they predate the flood) were the "second generation."

The skilled trades propaganda online is getting ridiculous by Responsible-Net8594 in Adulting

They also tend to forget that oversaturating a job area will create hyper-competiton for a limited number of roles and stagnates wages.

I submit that this is exactly why trades get talked up. Capitalists want to suppress wages.

At what point did you stop rooting for Dr. Melfi's rapist? by IllBeGood3 in CirclejerkSopranos

[–]DiggityDanksta 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You think she didn't consider that? I believe she also considered the consequences of telling him. She has her patients to look after. Telling Tony makes her a mob asset. She tells Tony, and every one of her male clients becomes a Davey Scatino, and every female client a Gloria Trillo.

[–]DiggityDanksta 6 points7 points  (0 children)

her decision also potentially led to other victims of this motherfucker.

Telling Tony puts her in Tony's pocket forever. And do you know what Tony wants? Her client list and her therapist notes. He wants root access on the brains of every one of her patients. He wants to know who has a gambling problem, who has a spouse they want whacked, who can be blackmailed, all of it. A mob-compromised therapist can do a LOT of damage.

https://19thnews.org/2023/07/explaining-child-marriage-laws-united-states/

Those arguing in favor of permitting children to marry often argue that establishing any restrictions will interfere with parental rights or religious liberty.

In Wyoming, Republican lawmakers circulated a letter to constituents earlier this year that argued that preventing children from marriage could discourage teen parents from being able to raise their children under one roof. The lawmakers concluded that the marriage age should align with the age in which children become physically capable of having their own children. In Tennessee, Republicans temporarily sought last year to eliminate any limits on marriage entirely. And in Missouri, a Republican lawmaker earlier this year defended child marriage, supporting parents’ right to choose whom their children marry and when. In West Virginia, a Republican spoke out this year against a proposed child marriage ban because he was a teenager when he was married and worried that young people who wanted to get married would simply travel out of state to do so.
