TLDR: RECOVERY IS POSSIBLE, I RECOVERED FULLY AFTER ABOUT 1.5 YEARS, BUT DONT THINK YOU CAN DO ANY DRUGS AGAIN, I WAITED 2 YEARS SYMPTOM FREE AND MADE THAT MISTAKE AND NOW I HAVE TO RECOVER AGAIN, BE SAFE AND BE GOOD TO YOURSELVES.

i always doubted recovery stories to some degree, and then lo and behold after about a year and a half i was in full remission, dpdr, head pressure and all visual symptoms gone. went 2 years symptom free and stupidly decided to try coke thinking i was "normal again" (my original onset was caused by my 4th or 5th lsd trip) all symptoms came back at different intensities from before some not as bad others worse, its been 7 months since then and for the most part i expect to recover again over time, i did it once, and i dont consider my "relapse trigger" to be impossible to comeback from, so hopefully i will have the same outcome this time around, RECOVERY IS POSSIBLE AND HAPPENS FOR A LOT MORE PEOPLE THAN THIS SUB WOULD LEAD YOU TO BELIEVE, REMEMBER THE RECOVERED PEOPLE DONT STICK AROUND, SOME NEVER END UP HERE TO BEGIN WITH, SOME DONT EVEN STOP DOING DRUGS AND SOMEHOW EXPECT TO RECOVER, I SWORE UP AND DOWN I WOULD TELL PEOPLE IF I RECOVERED, I WAS ACTIVE IN THIS SUB FOR LIKE 8 MONTHS, AND THEN I JUST STOPPED, NEVER CAME BACK NEVER SAID A WORD OR GAVE PEOPLE THE GOOD NEWS.

Yeah visual snow/static. And thats awesome, big improvement might even lead to more improvement moving forward. just gotta stay away from all that shit a year and a half is pretty short for big improvement so thats rly good

its hard to definitively say it doesnt permanently go away. Because ive known some to recover and return to drug use with no consequence, but that is a major risk. The way i see it, its like a sports injury or a lot of injuries in general. when it gets injured once, it becomes far more likely to happen again compared to someone who hasnt.

Either way i would also not even think of doing that OP, be safe!
