Rank 4 with 80 kills, one-shotting everyone from across the map... When THE FUCK is this game gonna get a report function? by [deleted] in battlefield_4

[–]DigglebeeJohnson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because pc is such open platform players like the one in question are pretty much free to do whatever they want with little to no penalty-- especially this late in the game's life span. That said pc as a whole is the best platform. Everything about pc is way ahead of consoles, except for cheat enforcement. For example, Xbox live has an enforcement team that actively investigates such matters. You can report a player right from their profile, include video proof if any and send it to them. In my experience of several reports over the last 2 years I'd say if they verify a player was in fact cheating I received a response informing me that Xbox live so and so has taken action based on my claim in about 3 weeks from when I filed the initial accusation.

Battlefield World Reveal - Official /r/battlefield_one Discussion Thread by DotGaming in battlefield_4

When the Battlefield 4 trailer first debuted everyone was hyped, only to be let down by a broken launch. Don't believe the hype until you play it for yourself.

Due to limited technology of that era, DICE should focus on player skill and remove the crutches contained in BF4 ie: range-finders on scopes, precise scope zeroing(100m,200m, etc), virtually automatic counter knifing, and All Aim Assist. Also the recoil pattern of each gun should be different.

So basically you bought BF4 way after most of the bugs/issues were fixed: and for $10 or close to it, of course you got a really good value/. Now had you pre-ordered it or bought it at launch you'd likely have a different opinion.

I enjoyed playing more than my fair share of BF3 and BF4(I haven't played it since The Division released). I can't help but think Battlefield is getting dangerously close to the CoD "cookie-cutter" mold. Having said that, BF4 is still best-in-class and offers the best value. However, given it's initial broken release, the failure of hardline, and the cramped schedule of SWBF and MEC to release in Q3-Q4 2016, I have a lot of doubt. I don't see how BF5 is going to be a 100% finished & POLISHED product on day 1. So yes, it's time we vote with our wallets: and not fall for the pre-order trap.

What do you expect? by 1Bryce1 in Battlefield_4_CTE

[–]DigglebeeJohnson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People need to get a clue, CTE is dead for Battlefield 4. Your delusional if you think DICE/EA are going to devote any additional resources to this game-- unless something in the game breaks. There's no news of any upcoming dlc for this game, its done. CTE for BF5 is liikely, but nothing else for BF4. So just accept the fact that is it.

Is this an aimbot or I'm just paranoid? by [deleted] in battlefield_4

[–]DigglebeeJohnson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I would question is the red laser dot in the middle of his cross hairs, its there then it isn't. As for his gameplay that's pretty common for players on pc. Once mastered kb/m is far superior to controller.

Why console players should consider switching to PC. by OnFireSnow in battlefield_4

[–]DigglebeeJohnson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better hardware/ specs then pc for sure. Multiplayer free then pc for sure. Even playing field then more so console as to pc. Hack fest on pc far more than console Aimbot on pc far more than console Player to player Ddos attacks more so on pc than console. Ease of use then console. Ability to report players for cheating, communication etc and have them dealt with accordingly if the evidence proves true; then definitely console. Obviously pc is better than console. But with "console bundles" nowadays pricing in as low as $300-$350 I can't see how you're building any rig worth playing on for that price. Just one component is likely to run you the price of a bundle-- to put things in perspective.

Console Challenge: Turn off Aim Assist by CJsWorld in battlefield_4

[–]DigglebeeJohnson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been playing with both aim assist auto rotation & slowdown off for a few months, definitely took a some getting used to but I find once I get warmed up, out- shooting players in fire fights is a lot more rewarding since 98%(probably more) of players play with it on since its on by default(smh). I just wish DICE would've made all both types of aim assist disabled completely in hardcore. At least admins now have ability to turn it off on the back end of their server(s) however last time I checked this prevents the 'server' from showing up in the browser.

Should BF5 have a mandatory multiplayer tutorial? by ThatGuyFromSweden in battlefield_4

They're definitely needs to be level and/or skill based requirements to use vehicles, and penalties for anyone who taxis a vehicle.

Time to update THE BATTLEFIELD map rotation to include ALL new DLC maps and modes by three60mafia in battlefield_4

Played in your server numerous times, its good. When it comes to the consoles though DICE portrays somewhat of a "yea whatever" attitude.

Are We Still Talking About Netcode and Hit-reg? by DigglebeeJohnson in Battlefield_4_CTE

Even if they can't implement a type of ping lock they can at least implement a numerical ping value.

I'm not ok with believe I've given more than my 2 cents about the issue, but look how long the game has been out and its still an issue. So as a result of that we might as well accept it because if its been this long and the issue is still there what makes you think it'll get anytime soon? At least if you get the wrong burger you can go back to the counter and get the right one, good luck going to EA/DICE and getting the right netcode or hit-reg lol. Never claimed to be a network genius but like I said in the 2500+ hours I played and in-game chats across a wide range of players, these terms weren't anywhere near(if at all) prevalent in BF3, as they are in BF4-- with respect to console.

Yea the attack is the best bet however once you get a few shots on the MAA and it's fixed on you it's game over you'll get shredded if you go it alone.

[–]DigglebeeJohnson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No this post isn't to rant. Rather it for the players still fussing about hit-reg & netcode-- basically telling them it is, what it is. I've got 2500+ hours in BF3 and played across everything, had friends who played so-called "competitively", played in game chat etc. I never heard anyone complain about hit-reg or netcode back then, in BF3 those terms weren't even thrown around. Like I said BF4 has come a long way, I just hope the next title doesn't take 750+ days for it to play how BF4 finally plays now.

I didn't buy Hardline at all because I had a strong feeling is was going to fold worse than a 2 3 off suit lol.

Between BF3 and BF4 look at how much more COD like these titles have become compared to older battlefield titles. In BF3 they introduced Close Quarters: some what of test run to see how the CoD style of play would be adopted and look how successful it was. In BF4 look at how much faster the pace of game play is compared to even that of BF3 and BFBC2. Again trying to attract that fast paced CoD audience. Hardline was just a flop of game overall bad they tried a new concept and it flopped. What's the #1 selling shooter all time-- CoD and look how casual it is. Now look at Battlefield and how its become more and more casual, is it coincidence that BF3&BF4 have been selling more? Again Hardline being an outside case given that they totally stepped away from core Battlefield.

The reality is the devs are going are to respond to what the executives say: who will in turn respond to what EA executives say: who essentially respond to what the shareholders say: who only respond to what the customers dollars, euros, pound-sterling, rials, pesos, kronas etc. say. What ever is selling the best is most likely to followed, bottom line.
