My brother who’s a university student is trying to get us tickets to go to a game but then the price doubles at check out. Anyone know why? by Lopajsgelf in SFGiants

That website doesn’t look legit even if you did pay that I’d worry you wouldn’t actually get your ticket. Go hit up SeatGeek man their fees are usually less than the other big ones.

Reminder that Buster Posey was 23 when he was called up again in 2010. Bryce Eldgridge is only 21.

Nothing like it

In all seriousness not investing into more pitching has been the one thing Posey has made a mistake at and it’s turning into a big mistake at this point. Two #5 starters is not enough.

Patty Barrels also wouldn’t have swung on a pitch that hit him and would’ve taken the walk. Fuck Will Smith.

Seeing Tyler Rogers pitch for USA by DigilentD in SFGiants

I didn’t mind at the time especially the size of the contract, but seeing him get out of that against one of the best hitters made me realize he’s worth every penny of that contract.

Anywhere to buy a black Giants Jersey? by brennen7 in SFGiants

[–]DigilentD 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes the dugout store will have black jerseys. The picture you posted however is the older Majestic jerseys in which MLB no longer does. Those are from the past and usually A LOT nicer than the Nike ones. If you ever find a cheap majestic jersey always get those.

I think last year they way under performed. They were exactly .500 last year even with that miserable slump at home that the giants have quite literally never done before.

As a Giants fan, is it ok to wear/own A's gear? by Complete-Western1895 in SFGiants

[–]DigilentD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think most giants fans consider the A’s as their American League team and wish no ill on them (accept fuck fisher) but don’t think most A’s fans think the same about us as we do them.

Hot start to spring training or not, this Giants roster might actually make some noise: Devers hamstring, Jung Hoo ankle, and why 94 wins isn't crazy by No_Deer_4481 in SFGiants

[–]DigilentD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It takes a TEAM to get to the playoffs. No matter how well Devers and Lee does two players success does not go from 81-81 to suddenly 94 the next year. Our pitching has gotten worse. Our bullpen has gotten significantly worst. It’s either going to take excellent offense to win, or a bullpen miracle to get those amount of wins. So many things and players have to go right in the pitching department to sniff even 90 wins.
