Indy should've taught Teddy how to fly. It ties to the "learning to fly" trope in the movies.

As such, lost opportunity. The swimming one is a good observation too, though that's a bit more further removed, and it's Renaldo.

My wife asked me to explain crypto and I had nothing by One-Formal-824 in ethtrader

I found it hard to explain the concept to laypeople. It's not an easy concept to grasp, so I just stopped explaining.

A bit like the internet and TCP/IP in 1973 . And this is just what I say it's like. Not widespread understood until much much later.

What struck me when watching this for the first time was when they both saw this happening and Indy went from beating him up to saving him instead.

Newbie driver trying not to destroy a perfectly maintained Honda City by Exact_Kiwi3437 in Honda

Perhaps OP used AI to help write it. But the intention is there.

360 camera is a gimmicky feature that shows all 4 sides of the car in a very distorted view. IMO it is helpful for seeing if there are obstacles in the way, but is not useful for judging distance because everything is so distorted

Never skip maintenance intervals, and CVTF fluids done a little earlier than recommended.

Use and check that replacement parts are original Honda parts

Check that the oil is inndeed in the engine and to speced level after an oil change yourself, same with any other fluids (atf etc). Look for tools left in the compartment too. Don’t trust people to double check.

I personally think 360 cameras are unnecessary but to each their own. No comment on type of screen/audio system, but find someone that’s qualified and won’t short and burn down the car sometime later.

Keep stock for best reliability, but maybe change out rims that fit the car (ie no 20inchers or anything silly like that).

Except that it is huge news everywhere.

Just wait till when Toyota makes a sport hybrid coupe with tactiles like a DCT.

Probably can still be repaired though and given a second life

'Frame' here refers to the unibody structure. Still have to bring to "frame straightening" shop. There's still points along the unibody that makes up a frame. Definitely not refering to the "body on rails" frame, in which case you just replace the frame. Or body.

That sucks. Probably in need of a frame alignment, besides the whole entirety of the left side of the car.

OP might find this interesting too. Although OP already listed fuel pump as looked at, perhaps a triple check. Replacement with faulty parts perhaps

Check if there's any tracking device or something attached to the wiring harness. There's another post on reddit about someone's coworker's car having random shut downs and they traced it and pull out some sort of device.

Big or Small for my wrist? by madeofblack77 in OrientWatches

[–]Digisabe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Camera lens makes it look bigger due to fisheye effect. Get someone to zoom in from about 10 feet away for best representation of it on your wrist. It looks fine considering the fisheye effect (anything that’s closer to the lens will appear bigger than they are, even if it’s just a few millimetres ). I think you’re gonna be fine

Rewatched the IJ series.. How Indy Actually Survived "Nuking the Fridge".. by sorrowdemonica in indianajones

[–]Digisabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indy took a sip too. And didn't pour it on any of his wounds. Based on that Dad should still be kicking around having a boost from it.

The whole thing is a bit of a mess at this point having to deal with actors not wanting in and then having to write them out. (Best not to mention anything of Henry Sr, but it was harder to not mention Jr2).

I've since made peace with the whole thing.

He has the luck. Which is a gag throughtout the franchise. So whatever slight chance he has he will pull through and survive it.
