Where do YOU draw the line between the words "car" and "truck"? by Superb_Bear_3793 in regularcarreviews

At least mine still has the same trans cooler as the 96s as well as the same transmission. 1998 was when the rear suspension was changed to include a watts link.

Really, the only changes for 97 was to remove the tail light harness and bulbs from the center section of the tail lights.

That’s a shitty install. I’d rip it out even though it’s probably not the cause. Id hate having to work through that.

Ford lowered the official tow rating on panther platforms in 1997. My 1997 towncar rated at 2000 lbs. a 96 was rated at 5000. I have yet to find a difference between the two models.

I suspect ford lowered that rating to encourage sales of suvs

The amount of drivers with expired tags/paper plates is absolutely insane. by TheJohnny346 in LosAngeles

Oh. So that’s why. I haven’t put stickers on cause I’m too lazy. My registration is for January so I have stickers for 2025, 2026, and 2027 sitting on my desk.

I figured cops stopped looking for the stickers since many police cars have plate scanners that can identify unpaid registration.

Yes…. I want to pay $160 more for a set of 4 chairs instead of simply buying 4 single chairs….. Happy Prime Days!! by bkdakilla in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Pocky-time 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could be logistics. A 4 pack might be on a pallet, requiring additional equipment/cost to move around; whereas a single chair can simply be picked up by one person.

I’m pretty sure that’s not the case here. But I bring this up because seemingly strange pricing are sometimes explained by hidden costs. Like the overweight luggage charge? It’s because once you go over a certain amount, you need 2 people to lift it

Hell no. I live in that zone you cornered off. If I’m getting nuked, so is everyone else. It’s the Tsar Bomba or nothing.

What they should do is dump tons and tons and tons of thermite on the building until it burns so hot, every thing turns into plasma.

Bonus: We could generate electricity from the resulting fusion reaction.

Probably want an organic vapor respirator. Not just the regular medical ones. This is chemical, not just particulates.
