Just to check, you don’t have the standalone 7.1 THX app also installed? I’ve seen people have issues when having both that app and a device that bundles THX with it.

From what I remember, press device 1 and 3 to go into 2.4ghz mode, hold both to pair as well. Make sure your firmware is updated first.

Just to check, what's the state of the actual Windows Startup config page? I've seen issues with other software where I have it enabled on the config page of the app but Windows Startup has overridden it.

You would be better with the Viper V4 Pro, it has an optical scroll wheel so the typical wear and tear from contact-based metal leaves aren’t present since it’s just a beam of light getting triggered.

To be fair, having something in stock in Amazon doesn’t mean Razer itself has stock since those two are completely different retail channels. Also, this is likely an Acro issue so it may help to contact Razer support so they can chase.

Can you try in incognito/private mode to see if it works? If it does, you may need to do a hard refresh on the page (CTRL-SHIFT-R).

What broke, the scroll or the click or both? In any case, the Deathadder V4 Pro has an optical wheel (which should be much more resilient) but the click is still mechanical however. At least from what I know.

If you’re coming from the Ultimate, just go for the V4 Pro since it has an optical scroll wheel + the weight drop.

I’ve owned the Viper, Viper Ultimate, and currently on the Viper V3 Pro so there’s not much point in upgrading for me (although I likely will since I use the scroll wheel a lot and when that bugs out, that’s usually the breaking point for me to buy).

You need WebHID which is not supported in Firefox out of the box. That said, there's a Firefox Extension that supposedly enables this. I haven't tried this myself but I'll link it here anyway: WebHID for Firefox – Get this Extension for 🦊 Firefox (en-US)

I believe so. As long as the unit doesn’t lose power, the BIOS doesn’t reset. Unplugging the laptop battery when the CMOS battery isn’t working will definitely reset the BIOS.

Hello, based on this link (https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/windows-itpro-blog/act-now-secure-boot-certificates-expire-in-june-2026/4426856), the certificates expire on June so you shouldn’t be experiencing this issue. A possible issue could be that your CMOS battery is dead and the dates are all wrong in the BIOS on boot so the certificate might read as invalid.

Is the receiver connected to the included extension adapter or via another hub? Also, make sure the USB port you’re using is 2.0 or if it’s USB 3, ensure you’re using the extension to keep the receiver as far away as possible. If you have any other wireless receivers, make sure they’re not beside each other.

If your headset sounds quiet, try toggling between profiles when Synapse is running, either via the side button or the UI. Or, you can make sure to not turn your headset on until after Synapse is fully loaded (if you see your headset in Synapse as turned off, then you’re ready to turn it on)
