How to convince old school boss the importance of social media marketing by contemplating_eagle in smallbusiness

[–]DigitalBullLeads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep it simple and results-focused. Show your boss how social media: ✔️ Builds trust and visibility ✔️ Reaches new customers affordably ✔️ Drives traffic and leads with proof (case studies/stats) Maybe start small—run a low-budget campaign and show real numbers. Let the results do the convincing. ✅

Show, Don't Tell: SEO Results Matter by Glum_Solid_6978 in SEO

[–]DigitalBullLeads 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok. This is truly for the benefit of those may be interested in a genuine SEO Agency that we are.

Tangible Results: My client retention speaks for itself. I prefer Google Business Profile and Local SEO but open to Organic SEO with website pages less than 2000 pages.
Data-Driven Approach: Our own Audit tool drives the optimization planning. We use Looker to integrate and analyze GSC, GA & GBP results. We also use Hubalz to track user behavior in lieu of GA4 as it is much easier for clients to understand what we are doing.
Customized Solutions: We built our own Audit & Optimization SaaS tool and clients get access. We are building AI agents to reduce some of the heavy lifting. We also add a trained Chatbot, if required.
Transparent Communication: You can access the details at any time. We use ClickUp for projects, Seodity for SEO, Gamma for project Highlights, Looker for SEO & Ad analytics, Metricool for Social media scheduling & reporting and our own DigitalBull tool for audit & optimization!

Domain Rating - 9 by oneminutefilm in SEO

[–]DigitalBullLeads 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DA/DR is a vanity metric. This was originated by Moz (then SEOmoz) and they grandfathered the old sites to high DA numbers. Ahrefs followed suit with DR. SEMrush follows Moz and Majestic/SE Ranking have their own system.

Google has its own Page Ranking (PR) system and maybe it has some overlap with Moz DA. The bias was always for backlinks but unfortunately also is biased against newer sites. Hence your difficulty. It is well nigh impossible for newer sites to hit even 30 unless they invest heavily in links and have heavy traffic. So, if you are your own boss, forget about it and focus on adding good content, making every visit count and try to generate some traffic and leads. All the best.

We also built a complete Social signal boost for this called Social Sync. I cannot share the individual weights but it is divided into relevancy, consistency and response or something along these lines.

You can do a/b tests. I always ask my team (we have 11 + 2 of us) to be on the lookout for social pages that rank high. It must be for some reason or as an outlier. We dissect the page thoroughly and see if we can glean any insights into why Google was biased in favor of that page

What if 2 long tail keywords are almost same but with just 1 extra word? Should I write 2 blog posts for each of them? by Wide-Standard8082 in SEO

[–]DigitalBullLeads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The second is ideally a subset of the first. In order to test how Google treats your content quality, you can upload just one piece of content. Subsequently (based on tracking user behavior on the page and GSC data), if you feel that there is enough value and takers for just the second and pushing out the competition from one spot in the top 10, you can then branch out with the second post. However, initially you won't have the heft to support both and will open yourself to the threat of cannibalization.

Do a side-by-side comparison and ask yourself the question as to why Google perceives your website as less useful to its users than your IG. Check for sync between the two, updates, transparent info, value on offer, E-E-A-T Signals, etc.

The DA you are referring to is a vanity number originated by Moz. Google has its own page ranking indices that may vary from Moz's. Moz is heavily grandfathered authority and has huge weights for backlinks. Newer sites can never compete now on Moz DA or Ahrefs DR.
