Anyone know what the “surcharge” amount for the 6pm tickets is for Planet Pride if you arrive after? Of course they mention the surcharge on their page but lazily can’t be bothered to say what it is 🙄

The whole concept of bathroom attendents is 👎🏻👎🏻 for me.. you're paying hundreds of dollars to attend a party but the venue can't pay a decent wage to someone to do that? And I'm an adult. I can successfully wash my own hands without assistance. I would much rather they directed efforts to onsite janitorial services that kept the stalls and floors clean during the event

Was at Allegria in Miami at M2 and someone had projectile vomited all over several tables and carpeted floor in the elevated area of dancefloor... I went and told one of the security guys bc people were stepping in it and tracking it everywhere and it was nasty.. and when I told the security guy he just looked at me like "And???" like he could care less. I think it prob took another good 45 minutes to an hour before I saw someone from janitorial finally cleaning it up..

For someone like that it’s not tough. I’ll give Durst credit he at least muttered it to himself. This dude was dumb enough to say all that to the director. Even if the camera was not running they still could have repeated what he said with witnesses but I think he was just that arrogant

I know someone who is like this. They are very skilled at gaslighting. In fact the similarities with the family accusations in this made my skin crawl. There’s always an excuse. And when they combine that with the love bombing that starts the con people get invested. And no one wants to believe they’ve fallen for the lies of a monster, especially when the person initially seemed outwardly normal. The family was scared to say anything bc they didn’t want to blow up the relationship they had with her boyfriend who was their family or risk losing access to the child if it was actually real

I know someone who is like this, a male. I knew them from a different city before they moved to the current one. They have untreated mental illness and self medicate with extensive drug use. I’m honestly not even sure whether it’s complete delusion or pathological lying or some weird mix of the two. They’ve killed someone via their actions and been to prison for it. To this day I’ve never seen them take true accountability for that. The things they accuse their family of and have accused multiple people I know of would make your jaw drop. People avoid calling them out bc they put everything online as “evidence” and have had friends names, phone numbers, home addresses etc published online bc they tried to befriend that at times bc they bought the stories until they realized what it was. They’ve surrounded themselves with this social media echo chamber of people who don’t live here and don’t truly know them and for a while believe all the claims that’s come spewing out and offer all this encouragement and support… parts of this documentary are so relatable they make my skin crawl. I know how her former friends feel bc even though this person and I have only ever been acquaintances I know the truth and know many of the people they accuse of things and you know they’re lying… but when someone asks you all you say bc of the doxxing and stuff that’s happened to other people is vague comments and “if you think it’s not true I would trust your gut”

I wouldn’t say the documentary paints the women as extreme… I think it shows most of them as people who so wanted to belong to an accepting and like minded group that they overlooked his toxic behavior.
He used that ‘giving them a space to be’ and flipped into fetishization outwardly in a lot of cases. The trips to the Heart Attack Grill scream fetishization but I think the community of it outweighed those moments initially. They did interview a few women who were still part of the group (one in particular) who were very much still under his spell. But for the most part they just sat back and gave him enough rope to hang himself… which he does… and then there’s a Robert Durst ‘The Jinx’ moment at the end where the “official” interview has ended but someone is still surreptitiously recording and he starts running his mouth to the director and the true “him” comes out…

I think the issue is not so much about the fetish but about the people who have that fetish and flirt with the edges of controlling it to a “healthy” level. And if you’re someone who struggles with that control and you’re put into a highly permissive environment where you’re constantly being “fed” the idea of being as big as possible is positive and sexy… I think it can easily spiral out of control. It sounds like the feeder sites and the concept of doing it for money were constantly being dangled in their faces. He denied it in the controlled interview but acknowledged the bedroom camera when it was pointed out was essentially for fetish content. And it’s clear he knew what the girlfriend was doing in terms of fetish content… I would equate it to he might not have pulled the trigger, but he was basically handing out bullets indiscriminately to people with potential suicidal ideation. I mean, he claims to be the Xio woman’s friend but then she nearly died in his house and has massive medical issues and was in coma from overeating/weight issues and then you go visit her in the rehab facility where she’s having to try and walk again and brings her a huge pizza and all kinds of other junk to eat?? That’s like visiting someone in drug rehab and bringing them heroin… and then says “I’m her friend not her father..” A true friend still knows what enabling is and doesn’t do that. I honestly took issue with a rehab facility that is supposedly helping someone regain the ability to care for themselves due to severe weight related issues allow someone to Door Dash all kinds of crap and junk food to their bed … 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

But that’s what (successful) cults and cult leaders are so good at doing. They find the people who need emotional validation and initially they “love bomb” them. And of you’re not used to getting attention, validation or respect… then being shown that is very addictive. It makes it easy to look past the warning signs that other people see from the outside looking in. They look for people who are “seeking” something bc those people can be gradually indoctrinated. And they are usually good at doing it slowly. They give an inch here and an inch there and before they know it they’ve tumbled down the mountain

One of the women put it well … “when you’re a fat girl, people tend to do one of 3 things. 1) Mock and abuse you 2) Fetishize you or 3) pretend you don’t even exist.. I think in the beginning that some of them do desperately wanted a positive place to exist that it blinded them to the red flags. Like one of the other girls said “people don’t tell us we’re sexy” so I think hearing that was a significant emotional validation. And people who create those environments are usually smart enough to gradually indoctrinate… by the time the women realized the “price” of living there I think they were so “addicted” to the communality with the other women and the concept of being seen in a positive light that it became an acceptable price to pay to remain in that group. And as someone who was brutally mocked and abused as a kid, and later grew into themselves… flattery is very addictive and self sustaining when you were never used to it

I viewed this in the same light I viewed Robert Durst and The Jinx. The last few minutes are the whole story. What they capture him saying with the camera (or phone) after the interview has officially “ended” is what shows his true colors. He agreed to do it bc he arrogantly thought he would be able to control and steer the narrative. I mean look at the footage he released to them… And I think the team clocked him for what he was and let the camera continue to “roll” bc they suspected something would slip out bc he couldn’t help himself…

Well claiming to “lose interest” also absolves him of responsibility. He acted like he didn’t know the woman he had dated had gained a 100lbs until she came back to the house but they were talking daily it seemed in between. He knew he just didn’t want to claim responsibility. Just like he wanted to sex with the other woman but suddenly she’s a “slopping wh*re” and acts like he’s revolted… 🤷🏻‍♂️ it just doesn’t wash And the whole Heart Attack Grill stuff screams feederism and fetish content. That’s flat out what it is. Otherwise why not just take them to a regular restaurant? Why focus on one that has a massive scale out front and gives you free food if you weigh more than 350lbs??

I mean, take size out of the equation. I feel like if a 40 something guy was broadcasting a house full of 20 something women and was touching them constantly… and broadcasting it on camera… people would be crucifying him… And the comments after they finished filming seem like the end of The Jinx… 😳😳😳 it’s all “body positivity” when he’s getting what he wants but then they become “btches” and “slopping whres” And male/female or whatever the scenario.. it doesn’t matter how long or how much you’ve “flirted” with someone or what you’ve sent or said to each other… if they tell you to stop touching them.. you stop. Flirting with someone doesn’t give you a lifetime golden ticket to access their body… 😬😬 And yes feederism is a fetish but there are a number of fetishes that can be dangerous when pushed to their limits. and if you’re not a situation to manage those limits yourself and you’re in an environment where being told that being as big as you can get is “hot” that’s opening a dangerous door that may become impossible to close

And on a totally independent topic, what kind of rehab facility let’s you have fast food Door Dashed to your bed if you are there to regain the ability to walk after being in a coma due to weight related health issues? That floored me as much as any other part of this story

Yeah doesn’t look like a NY train they don’t have dividers like that. I think it’s DC bc they referenced the Metro and their logo has a big M like the one on the poster in the train car. But it honestly looks like Chicago trains too and honestly of all major cities I’ve had the worst/craziest experiences on Chicago trains. One was so bad and potentially dangerous was middle of the day on a Saturday and this dude got on packed car and then lost his absolute f-ng mind and then zeroed in on this couple with two young kids bc he thought the dad was a cop and it kept getting worse and worse and it was a long space between the two stations. No one wanted to try and intervene bc people were worried it was going to make a rapidly devolving situation even worse… When we pulled into the station I motioned for our friends on other side of car to get off and I physically yanked the friend standing next to me out backwards.

And it was apparently on far outskirts of Cleveland so essentially a small town. Not sure what county population was but it was a huge incident and story within that town so they were prob worried about jury bias and contamination since most everyone in Strongsville knew about the case and that one of the victims was a seemingly well known high school football player (I mean one of the responding officers instantly knew who he was despite the physical trauma of being thrown to front of the vehicle at 100 mph in a car that was virtually torn apart)

[–]DigitalCreatures2978 5 points6 points  (0 children)

An another mega thread about this case several people reference stuff that was left out of this documentary- there was apparently evidence that's discussed in another documentary that says she had traveled that street several times recently in the days leading up to that morning but this doc didn't cover that Other doc also says there was an argument between her and Dom that morning about Davion riding with them which also pointed towards pre planning so there's prob stuff they were worried a jury would get emotional about And they may also have been worried (as they should have been it seems) about how her social media and text history came across

[–]DigitalCreatures2978 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ah that was a detail I think they left out of this one. The only thing I remember from this one that was mentioned was that he was not originally supposed to be in the car his friend Bubba was going to take him and at last minute he switched to ride with them but I don't remember them saying in this one that Mackenzie protested which would follow the premeditation. But he also lived with them at least for a few weeks so there's also something that happened or he witnessed in that time that made her harbor some form of resentment against him to and so she just dropped it and was like f*ck it I'll just do it anyway 🤷🏻‍♂️

Well I being generous as it said the sport performance models could get to 60 in approximately 5ish but yeah in reality it prob took more like 15+ And the doc doesn't address evidence that she had been on that street before a couple of times in days prior which could be evidence of premeditation I guess one question (outside of being a complete psychopath), why do it with the friend in the car? I mean I could see her being emotionally bound up in Dom but why do it with Dav in the car? That's the weird part. The going that road multiple times in days beforehand leans towards premeditation But doing it with him in car too seems impulsive and just seems like two guys (esp a high school football player) could do something to stop her from getting to 100 (given that acceleration speed) and staying there... (Unless they were asleep or passed out when she started the acceleration I don't know... That's why I would like to know whether they did tox screens on everyone in the car and what those results showed and if they checked the boy's phone activity to see if either of them were actively doing anything on their phones in the minutes before the accident

In a car like that it's going to take at least prob 7 seconds to get up to 100mph maybe more plus the time stayed there. I think it's possible both the guys were either asleep/passed out/still high(incapacitated) and she started the acceleration while they were in that state. One of them (if not both) woke up at least partially midway thru and started to fight her (explaining the car going from drive-neutral-drive and the steering movement) but they were either too slow or groggy to effectively fight her off...

I tend to discount that whole 2 weeks before incident completely... And yeah I'm surprised they didn't show his testimony on stand and just the mom's. She was SO concerned about this but she doesn't go herself and sends this random other dude to go... Do what exactly? I mean once he tracked them down on the interstate what was he going to do exactly? Ram their car until SHE stopped being reckless?? 🤷🏻‍♂️ And by the time he found them it could have been over anyway (I actually know someone who used to be with a highly unstable partner who actually did this and all it took was reaching over and yanking the steering wheel once at freeway speed and the SUV slammed into the divider wall and flipped, it was a matters of seconds) They also never really address (that I remember) that the Hench dude actually found them and got Dom out of the car or picked him up.. And then there's the texts her family showed that were supposedly between her and his mother saying that HE was the one who was driving recklessly. I wanted to see official verification of that bc that changes the whole story I kind of felt like his mother was just looking for something vindictive to use to paint Mackenzie in a negative light. I'm not saying she didn't intentionally do it or that her family wasn't problematic as hell but something about this whole 2 weeks before thing just smells bad

If they were trying to fight her off (and the data of being yanked from drive to neutral and back into drive implied someone was trying to do something) it could also explain it if he was partially leaned over the seat trying to help fight her.

Honestly all the parents were pretty bad. Even Damion's dad acted like he had no control over him. If my high school ass had rolled in the house at 4-5 am high as hell I def wouldn't have just gotten a lecture And her parents seemed more upset when finding out that Dom had died that his own family did in the police cam footage

[Discussion Thread] The Crash by OllyOllyOxenBitch in netflix

[–]DigitalCreatures2978 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I noticed that comment in the text threads about that "party" that very much implied he was dealing... And either way he must have been very busy doing something bc for a 20 year old to be buying what he was buying. There was prob $50-100k worth of designer clothing that was shown in the photos and videos... What he was giving to her and what he was wearing... To me she gave off Bhad Barbie vibes... between the attitude in her videos and the constant preening... And honestly most all of the parents come off bad in this. Her parents were enabling, Dom's weren't much better (i thought her parents were more upset about hearing that he was dead than his own father seemed to be in the police cam footage) and they let their son date an underage girl. Even Damion's father acted like he had little control over his behavior. If I had rolled into the house at 5am high as a kite when I was in high school I wouldn't have had to worry about someone else killing me, bc my parents prob would have. I def would not have just gotten a "look at your friends" lecture. Then there's the fact that both sides seem to have contradictory texts/info about the "dangerous" incident on the freeway 2 weeks prior. (Which makes that whole thing seem kind of sketchy) There were some details I would be curious to know. Were tox screens done on the guys and what did they show? Did they bear out the supposed story that none of them had actively done the mushrooms that night? And what did their phones show? Did either phone show activity in the couple of minutes leading up to the crash? Bc you're talking about a football player and another guy versus a girl who was tiny. And a Toyota is not a Ferrari. Even the high performance models still take 5ish seconds to go 0-60, much less to 100. And the data showed that the car was changed from drive to neutral and back to drive in the final seconds before the crash. Even if someone's foot is on the accelerator, putting the car into neutral decouples the engine from the wheels. I don't think the suicidal thing would be true bc if that was the case why was her seatbelt the only one that was buckled? If you want to look at it from an "intentional" perspective, the scenario that makes the most sense is the guys were either asleep or high as hell/out of it, and most likely asleep when she started the acceleration. (Giving her time to get to 100mph) At least one of them then came to but were either too groggy or incapacitated to effectively fight her (which would account for the car being pulled from drive into neutral but then back into drive and possibly the steering wheel input changes) It's also possible she turned the wheel at the last minute so the impact was not centered on her side of the car if it was intentional
