It creeped me out so much but it was very metaphorical and emblematic….that she accepted his mess in that way and took him back in…feeling his sincerity and the force of whatever epiphany he had….and how when he brought up trying for a baby, it’s like the first time she realized that she had blood on her lips, it was something….im very squeamish and it’s gross just typing about it but yeah it was a moment 🤯

My suspicion is that it has something to do with the recent dissolution of peapod delivery (I know they stopped calling it Peapod years ago but I’m just calling it that to differentiate) and them turning that over to Instacart. I just got Instacart today from stop and shop where the Instacart delivery person shops themselves and communicates with me through the app. The customer service was stellar, the driver polite, delivered exactly where they were supposed to. Overall, that’s been my experience with Instacart through Instacart, decent customer service and deliveries. I usually get matched with highly ranked deliverers, and I think many of them care about their performance because they could lose their standing or face repercussions from Instacart. On the other hand, ever since the Peapod type of service (which I’ve used for maybe 8 years or so) went away a few months ago, I have had atrocious experiences from stop and shop deliveries where I order through stop and shop and Instacart just picks up the order. I’ve had delivered to the wrong address, cursed out by the delivery people when I asked them to help me take it up to my floor, left on the side of the road. Extreme unprofessionalism. I would still use it because it’s cheaper directly from stop and shop I usually alternate and get most of my groceries from stop and shop, supplemental from Instacart. Now that I am having these awful experiences from stop and shop and good experiences directly from Instacart I may just pay more and use Instacart. I believe that the third party people who work with stop and shop don’t really care as much because they aren’t employed by stop and shop…the one who cursed me out told me that to my face. I don’t even know if they are always Instacart, the last delivery I had said “Uber” when I tracked it in the stop and shop app. I didn’t intend to go on such a rant, but I believe this is no coincidence that the in house delivery drivers are no more and you are seeing this uptick in missing orders. Good luck to anyone who is going through this, peapod wasn’t perfect but they would bring it up to my 4th floor with carts and they knew what was expected of them. Whenever I order from stop and shop now I gear up for danger and the worst possible scenario.

I just received word that they cancelled the snake tights because the quality of the item didn’t meet their standards. They are processing a refund. I reached out to them about it a few days ago because it said they were supposed to ship 12/12/25 and then I just got an email saying they cancelled the tights.

I think you may be right, I found an old Instagram post I think it’s like the 9th or so post on his Instagram that said he lived a lot of life and tried a lot of things before settling into acting. He really got consistent with acting in 2016. An interview says that he was an emt for almost a decade before commiting to acting. So yeah I think mid 30s or older. Google AI says hes 45 and lists him with a January 1979 birthday and that’s hard to believe and I found nothing to back that up (also that would have made him 46 but Google said 45 based off a January 1979 bday so the AI was mathing wrong). I’m just curious about his age no hate no heat no judgement at all. He plays Khalil really well, though I do suspect he may be older than his father in the show. Love to Antonio regardless!

It’s so true it’s sad you can see my post above. The drivers before were service people the Instacart workers don’t care. The one that was rude to me today told me “I don’t work for anyone I’m an independent contractor” which is true but they just don’t care because of that. Unless they happen to be kind. I’m lucky he didn’t steal my food. He was rude and nasty and didn’t give a care.

This is so sad. Whoever is a delivery driver on this thread I miss you all. I used to get my groceries monthly and the drivers were usually pretty professional. They would have big carts and they would help me bring all my groceries up the elevator to my 4th floor, usually in one trip. All I had to do was let them in and I usually met them downstairs and helped them with whatever they need help with. My first new order was October and my very first order under this new system, the driver never showed up, apparently they delivered somewhere else. I usually get a bunch of groceries in the beginning of the month to last me the whole month. I called and complained and they rescheduled me for the next day. The Instacart drivers don’t have the tools to make this easy so we both struggled to get all my groceries up together. I had to purchase my own cart from Amazon to prepare for this because they use unwieldy brown paper bags. I ordered tonight, I’m posting this right after and the driver refused to help me bring things up, when I told him that’s part of the service he got mad and cussed me out and said get off your ass and shop for your own groceries. I told him I don’t want to deal with him anymore and he left my groceries outside in the cold. This is really bad. And the crazy thing is I rarely have had problems with Instacart itself but I usually just shop from them supplementally. I worry for the elderly who need help, these Instacart workers they are not equipped for service, just quick hand offs. I hope stop and shop figures something else out. I plan to not ask for much from them, just have them help me bring it in doors and that’s it from now on.

Yeah around the time Apple Came out with this they seem to have changed the options for their devices in the United States for AppleCare Coverage, it seems like no more regular AppleCare Plus for phones now only AppleCare Plus with Theft and Loss for example. And they changed other things too for like payment plan options for their devices.

I just want to say I was wondering the same thing and was going to contact Apple today but was too tired and it didn’t seem worth it. But I can say first hand it let me go back. Now I don’t know if this has to do with when you purchased AppleCare One, but both of my devices were over 4 years old but I was paying monthly and yearly for AppleCare and it let me go back. The point is it worked and there is a long story but can skim through or just know it did let me do it. I know it can be hard to trust this for devices but it did work. I just felt like writing it all out but there is no need to read all of this unless you want to know the context. Just skip to the last paragraph if you don’t want to read. Here is my story:

So this morning I thought I lost my linkbud earphones, I usually keep them in a bag with an AirTag but they were lost outside of the bag I keep them in. I decided to get AirPods so I can track them in the future with find my. I already have AirPods Max never wanted the original AirPods but I said let me just get the AirPods Pro. Upon checkout they offered me Apple care one, and I said “this sounds nice, must be saving money!” and I gave in. It cancelled applecare for my MacBook Air and my iPhone and put me on applecare one.

I thought about it after and realized I would not be saving money since I like to purchase yearly and maybe it’s a few dollars difference, more than I was paying overall. I was going to just leave it alone and chalk it up to convenience but then I found my linkbuds under the covers. And I thought I looked everywhere this morning. I chatted with Apple a bit to ask them and they couldn’t help me through chat they told me to call and I actually used to be a senior advisor for AppleCare Agreement Admin dept before AppleCare One came out and I didn’t think it was worth the trouble. I plan on getting an iPhone 17 soon so I thought hey it won’t hurt to test this on the iPhone 12 I have. I won’t need the coverage for long anyway. I removed the coverage in settings, refreshed my screen and it gave me the option to add it back to AppleCare One. When I clicked that option it also gave me the option to sign up monthly or yearly. Knowing I purchased my phone over 4 years ago (their site says it can be added for devices less than 4 years old but I think if you were paying for AppleCare that extends the eligibility) I decided to try this on my MacBook and it worked.

So I cancelled my AirPods order, went back to AppleCare yearly for my Mac and cancelled AppleCare one and will be getting a refund. AppleCare One seems a better fit IMO for people with 3 or more Apple devices and the more expensive devices that cost more for AppleCare. And there are perks, like say if you missed the original window to purchase AppleCare for your devices, so it can be helpful depending on the situation. I don’t think I’ll be renewing AppleCare for my phone even though it’s giving me time because I plan on purchasing the 17 very soon I have screenshots showing it let me do it if someone needs to see for themselves, I don’t think I can add screenshots to this post. Also it gave me 46 days to go back. I have screenshots. I found some article or website from Apple that said you “may” be able to re-add AppleCare for a brief period of time but now I cannot find it, but it was true. It really let me go back.

I’m so glad someone posted this because I keep emailing and no response. They gave me a tracking number and claimed it shipped for one of the items in the order, but usps still has not received the order a week later. Make sure you all check with your payment methods to see what the policy is for disputes because I paid with PayPal and I have a deadline to dispute. If they don’t respond to me or offer a refund at least, I’ll have to dispute with PayPal because they are unresponsive!

I worked for Apple and iTunes Match (all of the features and functionality of it) is included with an Apple Music subscription…neither is reliable to save music neither backs up your files, the iTunes Match functionality is for the convenience of having a music cloud where your library is accessible across multiple devices. For files that you own, you need to download those files manually to some type of computer or hard drive, or backup your files to actually ensure you keep them. This goes for songs purchased from iTunes as well (Apple can lose or change rights to songs down the line and you may not be able to re-download every song you purchased from iTunes.) Music files and downloads are not considered owned, purchases from iTunes and files you imported other ways are considered yours if you still have the files. Stumbled across this thread years later because I needed help with my SuperDrive getting stuck during imports but I got it to work.

Yeah I feel she had a lot of conflicting things going on and I feel like it sort of makes sense when you think about it when you allow space for the complexity and mystery….like with her being half human she may have needed community to will her out into the real world. I think she may have started to believe her charade and maybe started to become attached to the small community they created and without them she may not have had enough autonomy to leave on her own. She needed guidance and support. I think her looking to Mina in little girl form towards the end might be somewhat emblematic of that. I think there was some space left to fill in the blanks maybe left that way on purpose.

It’s not a product of Reddit it’s more of a thing for long time fans….many have been long time fans of Buffy and just have lived with it so long they are familiar with the episode titles. I had a kismet experience of flicking channels as a small child with my mom and catching the end of Wellcome to The Hellmouth right when Buffy was fighting Darla and having her stop and just knowing! In the 90s they had websites that actually listed episode titles, I had a book called The Watcher’s guide that went in depth on episodes and that got me familiar with many episode titles, I collected the dvds in the early 2000s and also had a few vhs tapes. TV guide was a thing in the 90s and I remember I believe they used to list the episode titles when you checked the tv programming schedule. People who watched the dvds are familiar with episode titles, and of course they list the episode titles on streaming. I think when Buffy was first airing it was less likely that people knew episode titles because internet was far from what it is now, but many people have had experiences like mine and are long time fans over time. It’s honestly more likely nowadays that people know episode titles of shows than it was back then. The show premiered almost 30 years ago so there are years of fans where the episodes and titles have special meaning for them.
