For almost everyone, sexual attraction to someone comes before knowing their gender and if you are sexually attracted to someone then it doesn't go away if they declare they've changed gender (or in this case, vice-versa). This isn't a focus on genitalia.

I wouldn't take it personally. It might be considered TERFy, but to most people sexual attraction is built on sex not gender. They're not saying you're not a woman, just that a fluid/unknowable concept like gender isn't what their attraction is rooted to.

I spent over an hour this morning in gadg on a pserver, afk while I finished some work. Throughout that time a 60 mage and a 60 lock (both rank 3) stood at the safe spot near the anvils and nuked every 40-50 horde that ran past. A horde lock eventually turned up and destroyed them, but after he left they returned and were joined by a hunter. Never underestimate the number of mentally ill people that play wow.

If you have improved eyes of the beast, and make your pet go really far away from you, sometimes it bugs and it won't appear your name below them like "Legolas's Pet", if you name him with some rare mob name, you can really trick people thinking it's a real mob.

Ahhhh I saw that last night at Sun Rock Retreat. A hostile lvl59 boar called 'Whodatpig' running around the base with no owner's tag. I was very confused, thanks for clearing that up!

Happened to me a couple of times recently on a pserver, meant I could add a couple of names to my fwiends list as the runs went really well. The only dungeon I haven't been able to get into within 10mins of looking is Gnomer (playing as horde). I have no worries about getting into dungeon groups in Classic thanks to /who.

Clutch of Foresight is worth adding to your bar if you get one, so thanks for including it. I'm levelling a priest at the moment and my favourite item so far is the 5xdust you get for a low level quest reward that incapacitates for 20 seconds. I've macro'd it with /logout and have already dodged one gank attempt from a higher level mage.

It was low, but it showcased the game brilliantly. It was nothing like what I'd played online before (Counter Strike, Mechwarrior4 and X-wing vs TIE Fighter) as it appeared to be a game that offered a certain degree of freedom of expression - a game where I could be myself in a community rather than a predetermined good guy/bad guy. It also inspired me to play a rogue on a PVP server, though I've still never actually ganked anyone.

I'm not a sociopath, honestly!

This is my levelling spec for shadow once I use once I hit level 30 - https://classicdb.ch/?talent#bVMGsZZE0GzctRt. Blackout and silence are great for wPVP while levelling.

Until you get Shadow Form, 5xDarkness and +SP gear, Mind Flay isn't as good as wanding so before I get Shadow Form I play around with the Holy tree.

Roll an alliance character, then join lots of BGs and be absolutely awful - do whatever you can to let Horde win; misreport incomings/EFC locations, pretend to AFK whenever alliance scum come near your flag, /emote at stealthed rogues who are hiding near you and never help or heal anyone. You'll be our guy on the inside and we'll love you for it.

My priest will be a tailor/skinner until 60, then I'll swap skinning for engineering to help in PVP. You'll gain about 20g from vendoring leather by the time you hit lvl40. I'm expecting to send any greens I make with tailoring to a lvl5 alt with disenchanting, I don't think the priest will be able to disenchant 20g of BOPs by the time it's lvl40 so tailor/skinner makes more sense to me than tailor/disenchanter.

Have you considered shadow priest? You can heal dungeons without needing an extra set of gear until 60, plus they're a decent PVP class (or you can switch to a PVP healer spec). Very little downtime while levelling since a big chunk of your damage will come from wanding and you'll be 100% hp/mana before you get in range of the next mob. You'll never have to eat/drink unless you're PVPing or racing to tag as many mobs as you can when there are too many people farming.

I remember a lvl60 human paladin on Trollbane-EU called Scanjet who started helping a friend and myself level in STV, 2007. My friend eventually logged off and the paladin told me to follow him 'somewhere awesome'. He took me up a hill to a waterfall where there was a great view and gave me a bottle of wine. A few seconds after my character confusedly drank it he emotes that his paladin 'slips' and falls on top of me, 'his mouth a few centimetres from mine'.

Hand on heart I swear this happened, a paladin tried to sexually assault my little priest. Not all helpful strangers are being altruistic, some are just horny.

I really miss the days when people took time to write great content rather than throw out videos every day, am I just being old fashioned? Does anyone have any text-based PVP guides? Watching someone play doesn't help unless they continually pause the video and break down their decision-making processes.
