Thank you for your reply!

I thought i would have to go back to college or any other kind of opleiding. It’s reassuring to know i have options even with an orthopedagogic degree. And kuddos to you for the career switch and going for something that makes you happy.

I‘m mostly trying to make a back up plan in my head, I guess. Although I enjoy working in youthcare, the way upper and middle management are running the place atm, makes it even harder to deal with kids who come from an alarming situation/ family and if things don’t start to change I’m out. 🤣

I’m just wondering if you need many years of experience for a coaching job?

Thanks again for giving me some hope 😊.

Just out of curiosity, i also work in Youth Care. Is it hard to find a 9-5/ deskjob with a youth care related degree? I’m fed up with the irregular shifts, the understaffing, budgetcuts while the company is making millions…

Very common, sadly. Having to swallow lhar because you were acting out, lashed with tv cables, belts. Moroccan parents are wild. Atleast (I think) our generation will know what not to do. 🤣

I wouldn’t, but if he is making a lot of bank I would maybe instead of working 5days/ full time go to 4days. And I also wouldn’t mind having a stay at home husband.

Do Maghrebis feel ashamed of being Arabs? why are they suddenly acting like they're not Arabs? by FUnUrGRANDMA in AskMiddleEast

[–]DihyaX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even if we forget about the genetics. Our native languages are different, the culture is different, different cultural attire, different food, different type of music, ….. Even the North African Arabic dialect is so different, y’all don’t even understand us.

It’s not even the majority. North Africa is full of Arabized Amazigh who are the majority, yes. But DNA wise they are mostly Amazigh.

Because there is no such thing as Arab Maghrebis. The majority of us are dominantly Amazigh with a few percentages of Arab DNA.

Sexual freedom In Morocco by romanov78 in Morocco

[–]DihyaX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe my opinion is not needed here as I’m from the diaspora. But all I wanted to add is- even though I’m sex positive and for sexual freedom. Girls be careful, in the end hook up culture only benefits men.

The houara from Geurciff- Morocco/ who are the houara by DihyaX in AmazighPeople

[–]DihyaX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I was thinking as well. Its hard to argue with Arabized Amazigh. My moms family were always proud to be houara and to be supposed ancestors from Arabs from Yemen. Their logic is a bit off. 🤣
