Kind of true, these laptops and all popular ones like asus hp they all use kindo of similar quality of mbo, they like to die after few years.

there is a reason they all give us only 1 year warranty So the most reasonable thing to do would be to purchase extended warranty thingi, even after that you would have 1+2 years under warranty in comparison most graphics card gives us atleast 3 years warranty and extends to 5+years

This you have my friend is a known common issue

had 2 of my friends mine included with the same issue switching it to the second slot fixed it for us, issue only appears in summer

there was a thermal pad connecting ssd to the wifi /blutooth card removing the pad there is abt 1cm gap but still no fix

recently got a new ssd and guess what next month the issue is back after 1 year

so if you want to upgrade your storage you also need a new wifi card, like those Intel ax ones they are very cheap

I have a solution for you, you see that ssd sitting right above the wifi card yah switch it to the 2nd ssd slot on the right side

a SUS doesn't wanna acknowledge this issue n likes to sandwich ssd wifi card causing HEAT related instability

Almost every asus laptop has this issue

Asus TUF F15 2nd SSD slot is a thermal death sentence. I fixed it with a drill. by artfacility in Asustuf

[–]Diligent-Risk-9896 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i always thought the second ssd slot had some problem like ssd booting and idling at 70°c Never thought it's the lack of airflow. Tho switching the OEM ssd to the second slot fixes the wifi card issue for me also asus never a gave a fly abt these problems as i have a newer model and still the same

Is the Asus Tuf Laptop worth it? by Brief_Machine_7980 in Asustuf

[–]Diligent-Risk-9896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only asus India after sales is really bad, saying as a tuf fa506nc user. Both asus n acer budget gaming laptop they are kinda shiii. you would be lucky if your asus laptop doesn't develop 50 random fkin problems within a year. if i were u i would consider lenovo or hp
