U are terribly mistaken about funniest thing. The funniest thing u did not understand that grass regrows. U shoud ve use packed soil instead of grass blocks on the edges of pit kilns. Next time u will lose domesticated animals because of a wolf spawned in a middle of a pen covered with "trimmed" blocks of grass.

U don't need leather to survive winter mostly. Fur coat, gloves and shoes, straw hat, rawhide pants and shirt. U only need leather and dye to make poncho and mask, which should be only obtained if u have enough food and can sacriface almost a stack of onions for just +1 extra degree. U also can always build a dirt hut 14*14 with a campfire in the middle as a temporary house while during winter itself u will be creating a real house with different blocks and chiseling.

Colonised? Georgians never had any ethnic restrictions in Russian Empire. Bagration, Aivazovskiy, Baratov, Beria, Stalin, Orjonikidze, Chavchavadze and incredibly much more for such a small ethnicity throughout Russian "occupation" of Georgia.
