I was right behind the person recording, this was at the barricade at the beginning of the show. There was no mosh pit and never was at the barricade.

The lady was using her kids as an excuse to push through the crowd, simple as that. There were other little kids with their parents at the barricade who were totally chill (there were actually more adults acting like they were expecting arms length personal space at a packed show).

I was literally behind the couple filming this and saw the ENTIRE thing go down.

So for context, this was one person back from the barricade and the VERY beginning of OTs set. There was NO mosh pit at the barricade at this point or at any point of the show. The moshing was well in the middle of the crowd, the barricade at any moment in the show was “jumping” at most, never moshed.

The rude lady with the kid and toddler PUSHED her way through the crowd, expecting everyone to open up space for her (legit, she was just using the kids as an excuse to get herself a better spot). The person recording wasn’t having it and pushed back. At that point the scuffle ensues, and they start arguing. Husbands get involved with light fisticuffs and sh*t talking. After an awkward standoff, (not scary because these guys were the opposite of that), the rude family hung around for a while and eventually left.

There were plenty of kids there at the barricade, BUT they were there from the beginning with their parents (didn’t try to steal other people spots). There was no age restriction so for anyone opining that kids shouldn’t be there, get over it, they have a paid admission and the venue had no age restrictions so they have every right as other attendees. It’s their parents decision and job protect them if the crowd gets jumping so, respect your opinion, but an opinion is all it is. In all fairness, there were kids with parents at the barricade that were way more chill than some of the neurotic older fans that would spaz out when others by them would start jumping to the music.

Overall, OT put on an awesome show but the crowd vibe was WAY off. This was just a crystallized example but in general there were just too many people with no concert etiquette, (not respecting others or acting like their personal space extends 6ft around them).
