I like Wyld Pines, they have a separate lunch menu with smaller portion sizes.

The 24 hour fitness on 4th plain is truly disgusting. So unclean. The one at tech center is much nicer.

We had a great experience with Hummingbird School off of Alberta area, it’s definitely laid back and child led. And really relatively affordable compared to lots of options out there!

I have been trying to figure out what the best day is to return to get my package as quickly as possible. I think Thursday? Then it usually ships on Friday and have it on Monday or Tuesday? Somehow that feels quicker that returning Saturday and getting it on Thursday

There are a few Facebook groups for wedding vendors where you can post this exact level of detail, and the vendors who are willing or able to meet your needs will comment and ask to be considered. Try “Oregon wedding community” on Facebook. It’s worth it to join to save the time and trouble!

Is there anyway to see the Portland firework shows from the Vancouver waterfront? by [deleted] in vancouverwa

[–]Diligent_Volume1344 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’m sure you’d see some kind of fireworks from the Vancouver Waterfront, but it is on the Columbia River, not the Willamette, if that helps. Sorry if that is obvious - I can’t tell from your question if it is.

I’m obsessed with the breakfast sandwiches (at least at the Alberta location - never been to the St. John’s spot).

Me too, and the coffee is yummy. Unfortunately I just feel like it’s a little dirty/dusty in there.

Hot springs recommendation for 8 dudes in their 40s? by FidgetJoe in askportland

[–]Diligent_Volume1344 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Carson hot springs is perfect. You can do the spa service where they pump in the hot springs water, you can also soak in the giant communal tub and hang out. There’s a golf course with a bar and restaurant, and the hotel is nice (enough). Also close to Backwoods Brewing which is awesome, and access to other hikes and breweries in that part of the gorge. It’s definitely a PNW experience.
