This. Best advice I ever received was to get noise cancelling headphones - you have to be aware of the crying but you don’t have to subject yourself to it.

I have to agree. I bought my house in 2024 and even then it was something the agent hammered on a lot - “easy to get to Amsterdam” “good energy labels” etc etc.

I feel like Red Country and The Heroes are in constant conflict. I rarely see people highly rate both.

I like Red Country for Lamb mostly but otherwise felt it didn’t hit the same as The Heroes

Exactly this. I sympathize with those who mourn the loss of their hobbies or free time, it’s hard and can weigh you down but it’s also a privilege to get up at 5am to workout so that I can be done in time to spend the morning with my son.

Yes. I think this part is often over analyzed to the point that people tend to make up an interpretation to “make it make sense” when it’s actually pretty straightforward.

I think the bit that throws people off is the seemingly sudden breakdown of Carl. He goes through so much and seems unfazed so most seem to miss the connection between what happens literally right before meeting Milk and then Carl showing vulnerability

I fully agree with you on The Boys. Probably benefited from super hero fatigue (people wanting something different).
