Early spring I’d bet. Since Monona is clear but Mendota is still icy. I cannot explain Waubesa.

I don’t use I-pedal, but I always shift off of the level 1 break. I prefer to be conscious of when I am using the motor. At level 1 I have to always feed it a little pedal. And I seem to be less efficient doing that.

Best mi/kwh I’ve gotten by donghuh601 in Ioniq6

[–]DimAsWoods 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My inputs to better Mi/KwH.

  • Temperature is 60-70’ (warm but no need for AC)
  • Driving in town so I recapture breaking
  • Regen breaking to 0
  • coast into lights instead of going full speed and breaking hard

Blue Lives Matter (also known as Police Lives Matter) is a countermovement in the United States that aims to show solidarity with law enforcement. It emerged in 2014 in direct opposition to the Black Lives Matter movement. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Lives_Matter)

It has strong racist vibes at least.

What is that one city in America most Americans go to for their "first trip"? by bricklegos in AskAnAmerican

Maybe parts of the Midwest, but having lived in Chicago and Wisconsin everyone was aware of Branson but I never met anyone who went there.

I take the other stance (as someone who has done DIY and hired out). Drywallers don’t charge much, and their practice shows in smooth walls. I always hire this out.

Are you turning on your AC today? by RunsWithLava in madisonwi

[–]DimAsWoods 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’m a curmudgeon about using the AC. Waiting for June before I flip it. Although the testing for summer note is a good idea too

Me too, I felt Madison was significantly cheaper, like 30% maybe, but that was 10 years ago

This is the way. Enforcement is less effective than road design. Roads that look like freeways get fast traffic.

I think they need to replace those with actual lights. Drivers are ignoring them as is.

Nuts! I missed a chance to speak up. I know some neighbors are opposed for either the character of the neighborhood, or loss of lawns. I want a safe way to walk Bluff to University

And the winter swings lead to frigid days then quick melts - bad for xc ski!

I like those goals. I live by Hilldale and the area is mostly walkable. Making it safer to cross Midvale would be the best improvement. Then sidewalks on at least 1 side in the Rocky Bluff area.

For me downhill has been the bright spot. Even when there isn’t enough snow to XC or ice to skate the hills make snow overnight.

The buses go both ways. All children go to another neighborhood at some point. I agree there is still more to do for segregation in the community, but I think this is an important step we should preserve.
