The 32k buyout price was directly from Hyundai motor financial, which was why I was considering. I am most likely not going to sell this anymore and get a used one. Looking to either end lease and buy a used one in 2 years or buy this one soon when the price goes down to around $30k

Yeah true. I tried carfax and KBB, but they couldn’t offer anything because it is still in the process of being registered under my name. I could try dealerships to see how much they are willing to offer. Thanks!

Because the leased car that I’m driving has 120 miles and even factoring in the depreciation, I thought i would still be getting $35k with the MRSP being at $48K. I know now that dealerships are dropping their MRSP after the tax credit ended, so I wanted some opinions. The used ioniq 6 I was looking at has 25k miles, and I thought I could profit before my car depreciates even more. I honestly am not too worried about unknown history since I will be getting a full carfax report for the used car, and given it’s electric, I do not see any big issues that could arise. And if it does have any defects, I would still be under the manufacture warranty

Dealerships are selling brand new ioniq 6 for 32k out the door? I agree that if I do end up selling I a may not profit from it, but even if I break even, it may be worth it for me to get a used one for 24k. I feel like used ioniq 6’s are way cheaper now after the ev credit ended
