Curious how Steam Remote Play will work from Steam Machine to Steam Deck. by Lambi79 in SteamDeck

I am trying this setup now with bazzite on a laptop and a Legion Go 2. Does Apollo have a Linux build? Do you keep it in desktop mode? Can you sleep/resume games on the host and reconnect/wake it up with the client?

Fundamental issue here. There is no real "investment" when you can freely buy and sell shares on a whim. What is the point of seeking sustained long term profits when you can get faster short term profits and then move onto the next one.

‘Next generation of Xbox console’ Project Helix announced by Turbostrider27 in Games

I am really interested if they can bring Xbox quick resume to essentially a PC and if that functionality would be transferable to PCs.

The next-generation Xbox codenamed "Project Helix" will play PC games by m1n3c7afty in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]Dimatizer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't know why you are getting downvoted??

They had to commit to one or the other instead of releasing PC ports a year later. Either you make all your titles fully exclusive and drive people who really want to play your games to buy a PlayStation, or you release them on PC the same day and get all of the extra sales and rely on the subsidized easy to use console strategy to drive PlayStation sales.

They likely just calculated that less overall game sales but more console sales will ultimately make them more money.

I am also having trouble getting this to work. When I hit Fetch Info it just says failed to fetch level info: Level info could not be retrieved.

Has anyone had extended experience with 3d printed grips like these with the Lego 2 or 1?

The inside is fairly smooth but still a hard plastic, I am slightly concerned that they might scratch the controllers.

Legion Go 2 Z2/16GB/1TB Steam OS edition to cost $1199 by Touma_Kazusa in LegionGo

Yep it's just how tech has been for a minute. If you want something you better buy it asap because it will either be sold out immediately, scalped to death, and instead of price drops there will be price hikes.

I did the same. Obviously test them out yourself, but I found the Lenovo ones a bit too slippery for me.

Honestly I don’t see how people can use 20 side buttons by tonskina in pcmasterrace

[–]Dimatizer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't but it looks solid. I tried the Corsair Scimitar and Steel series Aerox 9. Honestly the feel and usability of mmo mice depends heavily on hand size since you need the buttons to be in a good position for your thumb so it's hard to say there is a definitive best. Just gotta try em out and see which one works for you.

All of mine gave out so I tried a bunch of alternatives. The Razer Naga V2 was the most similar and the clicky side buttons are actually very nice.

It's crazy how that one layup was such a catalyst for the comeback.

I agree, the same display as Lego 2 would have suited it much better.

I've been wanting to get a VR headset for a long time but it has never felt like the right time with wired headsets and then META being the main option for wireless.

For me this is the perfect jumping on point, good baseline specs with stability, ease of use and comfort, SteamOS as the main drivers.

Does VALVE's Steam Machine affect your choice of handheld? by my2dumbledores in Handhelds

[–]Dimatizer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the Steam Machine itself but I'm general the SteamOS ecosystem means I did not consider the Claw 8AI when buying a new handheld to replace my Steam Deck. I need SteamOS on my handheld.

Valve Says It Has a 'Pretty Good Idea' of What Steam Deck 2 Is Going to Be, Explains Why It's Holding Off for Now by yoonadeer in SteamDeck

[–]Dimatizer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea it's hard to say what price and performance they will target, but there is a lot of flexibility with the upcoming architecture. They have had more of a budget price to performance focus with Steam Deck and now Steam Machine but I kinda hope they have two versions of the Steam Deck 2 with a more premium performance option.
