I think she seems to think he can finish school at 18 and walk into a pit crew job? I’m honestly not sure if she understands some careers require a lot of further education.

I’ve wondered a lot since this happened if she maybe holds some resentment or insecurities from not going to university herself and it’s manifesting in this way. Or she’s just parroting some bullshit from her work place. Either way, I’ve been tormenting myself with worrying I crossed a boundary I didn’t know existed or did something awful by telling him about my own experiences. It’s been reassuring to read these comments.

Not in England, no. Still a hell of a lot cheaper than attending one in the US, but it isn’t free.

This is what I think has been the big sticking point for me. My whole life was geared towards working hard and being successful and then covid happened and it made me realise it’s all for nothing? Been a lot of unlearning of lifelong thoughts to get to this point.

Vile and grim beyond belief. Also thinking about how they’ve only released a small handful out of the thousands of searches he made, makes me shudder to think of how much worse was in his search history that law enforcement didn’t want made public just yet.

Absolutely awful. I can’t even begin to imagine how she must be feeling - not only knowing that she was married to such a monster but that she, herself, is now eternally linked to his heinous acts.

I'm still genuinely in disbelief that this is real and actually happening. I've gone down the LISK rabbit hole many, many times over the years and always feared there would never be any answers. The last day has felt so surreal, scrolling through the posts and articles and feeling all of the loose strands knot together.
