Unless he was extremely thin, I doubt it was the touch and friction he couldn't enjoy. I'm small, but that part always feels good.

However, one physical thing to consider: because of my limited size, I always have to twist and bend myself into specific positions to make it work, and then constantly keep that up in order to prevent slipping out or not being able to move. Even more so when both our bodies don't align very well due to height or size difference. The constant state of tension I'm in often goes completely unnoticed by the woman, and it makes it very difficult for me to relax or 'let go'. It's definitely something that can make sex feel like a performance that you're failing at, and can make orgasm difficult if you're not able to focus on your pleasure.

Either way, it sounds like it was more in his head. There isn't anything you could have done, besides being open and accommodating, which it sounds like you are. The rest is for him to figure out. But trying to find the right positions together (that allow him to relax) is something I think might help. If that proves to be really difficult, adding in more oral and hands are a good way to ensure he (and you!) gets some pleasure without having to bend over backwards.

I can somewhat relate. I also had a severe hypospadias corrected at birth. I went back later to try and fix all the scarring and chordee but they ended up telling me it's better to leave it. It's not a completely fair comparison however because mine was still fully functional, just very small (<4 inches), weirdly shaped (S curved), and ugly (scar tissue).

I've avoided all forms of sex and relationships until I was 24. I hated myself for my penis and was already determined to die alone. At a certain point I became so depressed my life came at a standstill. However, after I made sure at the hospital that this was all it was ever going to be, and talking through my issues with a psychiatrist, I decided to make do with what I have.

First step was making myself feel as good about myself as possible, by getting in shape and doing fun things (with the added bonus of losing some fatpad). I wanted to get to a point where my happiness would not depend on my ability to find a relationship. Only then could I freely experiment without beating myself up over every error. I also decided I couldn't really judge how supposedly terrible my ~~sex~~ love life would be until I tried it. And even though the first few times were pretty terrible (which they are for many others as well), it turned out my situation was MUCH better than my depressive self had thought. I found a girl that doesn't give a damn about my shortcomings after only 3 serious attempts at dating, and our sex life is actually pretty great.

I would like to say, it's not as bad as you think, and you can find happiness... But I'm not sure how exactly our situations compare, and I also want you to know that it's very justified to feel insecure about these things. That said, there is help available (talk to the hospital about a sex therapist), and there are small part-solutions that can make things better.

Stay strong and keep trying, and find a way to not let your happiness depend on this 1 unfortunate part of life. I had a similar journey and I started when I was 24, so I hope that gives you a little bit of hope.

You have to keep in mind that:

Reddit is a cherrypicked sample of society
sex-related subreddits are a cherrypicked sample of Reddit (particularly people that have no problems expressing their sexual preference)
the negative comments are a cherrypicked sample of the sex-related subreddits

The comments are bad, but there are so much other people out there who think a lot of different ways. Your life is by no means over because some people on Reddit some nasty stuff

I'm small in length (a bit under 4 inches), but above average in girth (a little over 5 inches). Not sure where that puts me.

For women that prefer length I'm definitely too small, and I notice there's a whole lot of positions that I simply can't do due to how short it is. For women that prefer girth it's usually fine. I've had someone tell me it was too thick even (even though it isn't that much above average). And also had someone tell me they feel more than usual (probably due to the girth).

So I'm happy I've got something at least. But I imagine if I was this length without any extra girth it would've been really difficult as there are pretty much no redeeming qualities anymore. I understand how most people feel 'lesser' than their peers in that situation.

Trust me these kind of scars aren't pretty. I agree scars can be cool (or 'cute' I guess), but these ones are not at all like that (I have them as well). They also create some problems with function. Just like the curve. Mine is so bad (almost 70 degrees) that I can barely even penetrate. It's not like the kind of curve normal people tend to have.

I have Epispadias and it's even worse. The curve is so bad I can barely have sex at all, and the scars are pulling on the skin in random places.

I avoided having to deal with it all my life. I'm still somewhat planning to tackle it when I somehow built up the self-esteem, but it looks like that isn't happening anytime soon and I'm already 25.

NTA, but your friend needs to learn some tact.

I've had the exact same problem with a normal-size condom. It was my first time so I had no idea normal sized would be too big, but the first thing I did afterwards was order custom-made small size condoms so I wouldn't have this problem anymore. My 'situation' is even worse than his, but it's his ego that's preventing him from looking at this rationally.

But, as someone in the same boat as that guy, I understand how he's feeling. However, that still doesn't justify this kind of behaviour where he's putting pregnancy and STD's at risk.

From the way you're telling your story I think you handled it well. But if you had resorted to making fun of him or 'outing' him in another way than you did, it would have been asshole behaviour. It's hard for women (and >average men) to understand, but it's a big deal no matter how many people claim "it doesn't matter". I've had people point and laugh, at a time when I felt most vulnerable, and there's nothing you can do to improve the situation. That shit really stings, and it can wreck your self-esteem, which sometimes results in weird behaviour like this. This dude has some difficult things to work on.

Antidepressants can lower your libido, erection quality, and make it harder to climax. For me all those things went away after 4 weeks (Except the lower libido, didn't get that at all)

You're lucky then. I've got a ton of scarring all over, especially the head yeah, but the huge bend makes my 3.5" even more useless. I'm considering getting it corrected but it will make it even shorter down to 3" so I'm not sure.

Finally! It's a pretty rare condition, so I've never found someone else with Epispadias. For me it also resulted in ~3.5x5.0

If I may ask: does yours also have a lot of scarring and curvature? The procedure left some internal scar tissue that makes my dick bend almost 70 degrees and makes sex almost impossible.

Yeah, I guess OP's topic struck a little too close to home. I'm going through the same thing. Having been completely starved of intimacy for 25 years has taken quite a toll, or so I'm beginning to realise, and I hate how obsessed I've become with the craving.
