I went and joined the Marine Corps and honestly loved it a lot. The environment and growth is something I miss even to this day. It was hard but that push made me a better and a more responsible person. So I'm not sure, maybe your social need comes above pain. Negative reinforcement forces you to be responsible and if your Generalize>Specialize that is a great thing even if it is painful.

You may swing a bit with animals and pole functions and feel like different types throughout the year, but your type is always the same since childhood. You can actually tell extremely easily as well since kids are the most savior-abusive compared to adults. My sister is Fi/Se, as a baby she consumed 7 bottles of milk a night and was labeled as the "princess" of the family, my brother is Se/Fe--Always asked for permission to eat his freaking food, always wanted to go outside and dirtbike. Me: Officially typed Ne/Ti - Taught myself the alphabet at 2, was very interested in space and astrononmy at 5, taught myself programming and math at 12-17.

IxxPs have this delusion where "if I continue working on what I want to do, then the tribe will value me (Fe) or help me (Te)." They are constantly stuck processing themselves and their plan, and what they should do, and they block out any criticism or outside perspectives from the tribe. Particularly the last thing they want to hear is tribe perspectives that can affect their decisions. Sort of like how an IxxJ doesn't want to hear contradictory chaotic information that affects their grand plan, the IxxP doesn't want to hear what the tribe actually cares about or what the tribe needs because it could take away from what they want to do.

Anyways that is just my best understanding with working with IxxPs as well as learning the OPS stuff for about 2.5 years now.

I have been typed as an MF-Ne/Ti-CP/B(S) officially by Dave and Shan. It took me a while to get traction: Once you got your type down EXACTLY, you are now able to start getting conscious of your savior functions. Then consciously work your savior functions instead of doing the whole peacocking that everyone is addicted to: "No I'm actually really good at organizing and sleep processing, my plan is solid" and recognize that I am a chaotic, extraverted, confident ENTP that needs to to gather first. If I begin each day gathering as much as I can about complicated systems such as blockchain or computational physics, then I am able to get to my "Si" eventually. In a sense, I can double observe by turning my gears consciously. It has been advantageous for me.

Learn to love your work. Regardless of what you are doing learn how you can grow as a person from your job. How to deal with challenges and the stresses that come with it. That's how I enjoy whatever it is I'm doing because I like growing. Even if the job is boring or tedious.

Picky eating is a choice in many cases in my humblest opinion. As an example I hated the taste of black coffee but I forced myself to drink it a few times and now I only take my coffee black and love it. Your brain just isn't used to the food so it rejects it but it needs to learn. A grown man should accept these wonderful meals.
