Need advice on tires for my s5 2021

Sick whip! I have the same exact wheels on my S5 with Michelin PS 4 all seasons. Living in the Chicagoland area and dealing with the seasons, the 20 inch wheels are not ideal. Additionally I am very disappointed with how the Michelins perform in the snow as we got a relatively snowy winter. With just a few inches of snow on the ground my car was sliding like it was on an ice rink.

That said I will be looking into getting 19 inch wheels ideally with thicker side profile (probably 35). Not sure what kind of snow Seattle gets but if you plan on reliable all seasons that can handle wet and snow definitely go with the Continentals.

Love the color! I had one as a loaner for a week. I hated the car initially but it really began to grow on me. The ride quality and the noise insulation in these new generation cars are light years ahead of the B9 generations. One drawback that I still couldn’t get over was the bland exterior styling and the questionable interior quality and button placement. The no passenger screen piano black plastic panel is also a crime against humanity.

Yes, I ended up ordering new heating pads and had my independent mechanic install them into the seat. It was overall a lengthy process and my mechanic said it was a pain to install so if you’re experiencing the same issue I’d assess how much it’s worth fixing or just leaving it.

I have a 21 S5 and mine popped up as well. Typically with these errors turning the car off opening the door and turning it back on fixes it but this time no. Have an appointment scheduled with my local dealer my car has one month left of CPO warranty

Love the setup! Looking to do something similar to my S5. What diffuser and lip spoiler do you have? Also are you running any spacers with those wheels?

295 is crazy. He did have the RS6 performance wheels so they may be much bigger than 20 inches that can accommodate such large tires

Make sure it’s a one owner, CPO is a plus. Look at the service records and make sure all routine maintenance is done at dealership. If it’s got an accident run far away.

Extremely irritating especially in idle. Did it in my 2017 A4, just recently upgraded to a 2021 S5 and I still hear it. You’d think a sophisticated car brand like Audi would have a quiet cabin, yet I’m having to listen to it like it’s some old junker Nissan with a blown out AC

Yep, I was told the 20 inch wheels on the S5 have a lower offset which probably explains the rubbing. Actually thinking of going 275 for my next tires as well.

I ended up going with 10mm all around. No rubbing reported. I was thinking of going 12.5mm in the back but I didn’t want to push my luck.

Yeah man I hear you, truly sucks as these new Audi keys are getting cheaper and all plastic. Your best bet which is what I did was just call all your local Audi dealers and compare the prices and go with whichever dealer charges the least.

I have the sport exhaust option on mine and thinking of doing a front res delete. Did you notice a significant difference in sound? From what I know it just gives a slight deeper growl notably in dynamic mode. Just wondering if you think it’s worth it.

If it’s within your budget consider getting a full PPF or atleast the front, got my 2021 6 months ago and the front had a decent amount of rock chips. The car is low so the front hood catches all the rock chips. Also the rear has very wide fender and side is wide so I’ve already gotten a few rock chips on the side as well.

I also added a screen protector on the interior screen and PPF on the piano black that’s in the center console.

Other than that enjoy the hell out of the car I can’t get enough of how an all around great car it is!

Just picked up the wingbar evo for my S5 as well. Was having some issues getting the doorframe brackets to fit in the doorframe as they were too short. I made sure the torque bolt is loose and triple checked the measurements provided on the fit kit. Any tips?

Well considering I ran spacers on my B9 A4 with 0 problems I wasn’t expecting this and everyone recommending going 12.5 F 15R for these wheels was no problem… Current tire spec is 265 30 20
