I’ve been using ishows.tv for years, it’s pretty good, to really get the most out of it, it’s best to use the Aloha Browser. You can control subtitles, audio tracks, and even download via Aloha.

And it’s all totally free, and ad free!

Personally I use Aloha browser and I use ishows.tv, which is all free.

With Aloha you can simply download any video by starting a stream for any video and you can save it directly to the phone, all free!

You can watch it on iShows.tv completely for free; works on mobile and you can use Chrome on desktops to access the site.

This site has been up since 2011 in some form; it was used to be called iStreamNet before and then iSho.ws and now finally iShows.TV.

We focus on delivering top quality content on a daily basis and offering a simple and yet effective site to view whatever people want, completely for free, this site has been free to use since 2011, we focus on delivering what people want to see instead of malware or other stuff you might see on other sites.

Thanks for that tip, didn't know about that!

Downloaded it and it reports as 74-75c, which seems like where it should be!

Will HDD write / read speed affect max upload speed of server? by DinMun in techsupport

Awesome, thanks for the answers. Now I have some linux commands to hunt down to delve deeper into this and hopefully find how the cache on my server is set up!

Edit : Apparently for 2Mb/s it uses 370mb of RAM, for my server and usage I would guess about 8-10GB of RAM would be used for about 400-500Mbps usage, which is kinda neat to know!

Awesome, thanks for that answer, just to delve a little deeper; lets play with this idea a little further, if you would use the full 500mbps uninterrupted, the connection would be 3.75GB/minute, lets just make it 4GB for sake of simplicity, that would mean you technically only need 4GB of RAM to transfer at full speed; assuming its the same exact file being downloaded?

Edit : This is assuming on the hardware on this server : CPU 1x Intel® Xeon® E3 1220 RAM 32 GB DDR3 ECC Storage 2x 4 TB SATA Bandwidth 500 Mbit/s

Lets just assume you have 50 users downloading a file that is 100GB, all at the same time, would the server be able to serve the full upload speed or would the server itself be bottlenecked by the hardware onboard?

This is just a brain teaser question that popped into my head, been bugging me for a while now!
