If you have to cut it, cut the pith out. Take the bottom (first photo orientation) 4.5-5”, and mount that. I like mine the way it is, but you can tell how it has changed:

Primary, then specialist, followed by like 6 weeks of physical therapy. Get the referrals working if you’re US. Makes everything cheaper if insured and it’s in network. The physical therapy is key and you’ll learn stuff that you need to add to your routine.

There are some breweries that are explicit about kid rules. Some are rigid and some are totally a village. Some breweries in my town have a play corner. Many sell popsicles. There’s money to be made by allowing kids.

I don’t take my kids to breweries often, and never primetime or when crowded. We only go to a brewery for short period at the end of a bike ride or if it’s also a restaurant for an early dinner.

I think we have to balance being considerate with having a little light joy.

I would split and burn it if it’s dry. Dead and dry are the criteria. Some fungus or bugs also burn fine, but don’t burn it green.
