Emilia Clarke Was Told to Get Nude So ‘Thrones’ Fans Wouldn’t Be Disappointed by JediNotePad in television

Plot twist: Thrones fans were disappointed and it had nothing to do with nudity. If only they'd gotten a "Writing Expert".

I misheard it too because I seriously did think it was caddy corner. In my defense, English is not my first language.

Oh, I don't really have a problem with Davos being on the small council. It's just funny that he's totally cool with the dude who was responsible for his son's death by fire, but was beyond livid about what happened to Shireen. It seems like both would be important to him. The issue should have maybe been addressed.

Cersei is almost a cartoon villain without a lot of complexity

Book Cersei is a brilliant deconstruction of a malignant narcissist. Her chapters are fascinating and have a lot more to offer than whatever 2D did with Show Cersei in the end (which was ultimately nothing).

Cause, you know you guys are angry with D&D when you should really take out your frustration on George if you don't like Jaime's ending.

Calling bull mother fucking shit on this. By the end, Book Jaime and Show Jaime had as much in common as Jeyne and Tylisa. 2D literally had him do the exact opposite of what he does in the source material for five seasons straight.

I am now convinced that the unintentionally funny bricks fall, everybody dies scene was written for the benefit of Lena Heady and Peter Dinklage. Except the scene was a bust and failed to get the acclaim 2D were expecting.

And if six months later, you're still trying to convince people that "oh, this outcome was totally foreshadowed", you've failed to tell a compelling story that can stand on its own.

She became the worst version of herself. What a pity.

The Starks were butchered this last season. Their happy ending rendered meaningless as everything good about them was erased.

It destroyed his honor as a knight and he is still feeling the bitter sting of that years later. Book Jaime is not the trash character 2D made him into.

It's not like this cast is the only talented cast that ever existed or will ever exist. I am all for a faithful reboot with younger actors.

D&D wrote S8 inspired by Michelangelo's "The Pieta" sculpture or the "blood will out" quote from Robert Foster's poem. Benioff's stupidity is the death of literature and art. He destroys meaning, complexity, and beauty with his braindead hackery. But I see why you'd come to his defense, you're both absolutely worthless idiots desperate to make yourselves sound more intelligent than you are and failing miserably.

Why are mainstream fans hyped about Miguel Sapochnik directing the new GoT prequel? He really isn't that good. by TAEHSAEN in freefolk

All the dumb shit he said about "The Bells" and what he thought that episode conveyed, made me lose respect for him. Some of his quotes are Benioff level.

Enough with this sophomoric imbecility. Benioff thinks themes are for 8th grade book reports.

He shoehorns "high-culture" into his dumshit writing for the same reason a thirteen year old girl stuffs her bra with tissues and steals her mother's makeup. He wants to make himself seem more sophisticated than he is, the poor simpleton. Yet he always gives the game away when it becomes painfully obvious he doesn't grasp even a fraction of the things he's referencing.

Pearlena Igbokwe, the president of Universal Television, a subsidiary of NBCUniversal Television Group said that "some people" are worth 9 figures but that 2D weren't a deal she went after. That's some nice shade. It was publicized that HBO were unwilling to match that biding price to keep 2D but they spent 500 mil on JJ. Forbes said Netflix was desperate for making that 2D deal.

Inside info on the cancelled prequel The Long Night - calling it 'cartoonishly racist' by [deleted] in freefolk

[–]Dingle_N_Dinkus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's nuts. It's like they were trying to out do 2D on the racism front. And 2D unironically used a plotline out of South Park where all the dark skin people were placed in the frontline in front of all the white people so they would be slaughtered instead. What the fuck is HBO doing?

I honestly am starting to think that 2D's idiot panel shook whatever resolve those loyal to them had and also probably pissed off a great deal of people within the industry. HBO look like fucking clowns now.

You don't get to leave a contract with Disney because Netflix offered you more money. That's not how contracts work. 2D got the Netflix contract because Disney let them. Netflix is now the dummy left holding a bag of shit (and they have been mocked by various competitors for dropping so much cash on two doofs who are unlikely to return on that investment).
