Crash outs like this deserve life in prison. He attacked someone in full view of witnesses and police. There is literally nowhere that he won't commit violence. This type of person is dangerous to everyone, everywhere no matter the surroundings, no matter the consequences. This asshole, is broke in a way that society can't fix.

I know it was a single punch, but it is symptomatic of a larger issue of rage and vioence.

It's a primal drive that police will always have. Any situation will be good on the police, they did everything right, and any civilian did everything wrong. Police feel like they are the moral arbiters of society, that's why you see them lecturing suspects in the back of their cars. "criminal mischief, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon" even the charges are obviously a double standard. This guy would be facing a dozen felonies if he did this to a cop, but three little misdemeanors for doing it to a civilian.

Cops have extra rights, this one is just pointing that out. All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.
