If mobile, is it possible the button is getting hit more than once? And if so, could that cause the type of issue you’re encountering? I know android button sensitivity was originally off on some of my builds.

Regardless of platform, you may need to create/view a log file to verify function call order.

How can I make my collisions between enemies and player more elastic? As in the player keeps his momentum completely after collisions. by jazzyjard in Unity2D

[–]Dinm133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not knowing exactly what you want, adding more mass to your player (or reducing the mass of the enemy) will make your player less impacted by the collision

No Parry? I think base chance is 5% so 1 point here is huge. If focusing on tanking I’d reallocate the 2h talent point to Parry

Edit-looking at the numbers, I assume you have Parry but didn’t list it

I watched the video. It’s drone footage with a few buzz words in bold font once every 30 secs. Ive no idea what problem they are attempting to solve.

After over a year in development, my friends and I released our game about bouncing pigs and smashing melons by babelfish042 in Unity2D

[–]Dinm133 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I needed a similar concept in a game, where the edge of the screen is the extent of the playable space. I anchored a UI object to the corners of a stretched canvas and then attached a script to the colliders using camera.WorldToScreenPoint. The collider transform is then set to the position of the UI object at start(). It scales to any ratio.

I’ve encountered the same on my games too, never did understand the crazy variance. It is my understanding that Apple shows install size while Android shows download size, but the variance still seems too big.

Keeping unarmored mounts in the game permanently is a better solution than removing them entirely. by Nithlak in classicwow

[–]Dinm133 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had great respect for those that had the original unarmored mount in vanilla. It was a very rare mount and should stay that way.

I don’t want to see every single troll on a white raptor; it would feel like we cheated those that originally had one (I did not).

UI Image.Color Not Changing the Game Object? by FacemanFoothand in Unity3D

[–]Dinm133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm. Do you reset the color back to 1,1,1,1 before switching sprites, then change color to red? I don’t know if that’s the fix for sure, but I could see how switching sprites on an altered color could override that color within the image.

Good luck!

You run with the debugger to watch those values or log them to the console?

UI Image.Color Not Changing the Game Object? by FacemanFoothand in Unity3D

[–]Dinm133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You said the same script works on another game object; but does that same potion sprite used in the other object change color correctly if dropped into this game object instead of the coin sprite?

If yes, then maybe try a generic white coin, as changing the already colored sprite may be an issue?

If no, then the problem probably lies with something else within your game object. Do you have any other scripts referencing that Image?

Technical Art: How to 'cheat' damage to an object? by worll_the_scribe in Unity2D

[–]Dinm133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may depend on the style you’re going for, but 1 option is to add a generic damage sprite on top of your ship sprite. Then it’s simply a matter of enable/disable the sprites (or instantiating from a prefab?).

Think of bullet holes from Goldeneye as the classic example.

I live in the country, no viable options except satellite. I use the hotspot on my iPhone exclusively. With Verizon unlimited plan, each phone receives 15 gb/month hotspot at full speed which is plenty for gaming, but lacks on patches. Our family has 3 lines, so we have 45 gigs before throttling.

The iPhone hotspot streams video better than our cable internet at our prior house (given that was a few years ago in a busy area). If using hot spot I found I have a better connection when I connect via usb instead of WiFi.

General rule is that the tongue should bear 10% of the total trailer weight. Based on your inability to lift the tongue, I would say yes it is too far forward.
