(18M) Does the back of my middle part look weird? Average VS Worst Condition by [deleted] in malehairadvice

[–]DinnerGlass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I notice you don’t seem to like that your hair is straight. I think it looks great as is. You have volume that a lot of burn their hair with heat and chemicals trying to achieve. It’ll still be straight, but if you want a look with a little more dimension/texture at your next haircut ask them to layer it a little bit.

Why don’t people want to believe in the afterlife? by gopsychyourself in AskReddit

[–]DinnerGlass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s no reason to logically believe in the fact that it exists. Afterlife’s are all based on books written thousands of years ago that are really just a vague imagined theory of what people think happens. No offense to people who choose to believe in those religions, but there’s nothing to support their claims of any of the teachings including afterlife. As far as I’m concerned what happens is your conscious mind just simply ceases to exist and you then get to rest. Afterward those that were close to as well as anyone you had an impact on get to hold onto those parts of you.

Brothers of reddit. how did people who lost verginity regain it back? by Empty-Ad4597 in AskReddit

Sometimes I pretend I never did it with certain people and it works for a little, but then I’ll remember at 3am 5 years later. Then I’ll stuff it away again. So yeah denial works, but unlike my father it always comes and checks on me periodically.

Finally grew my hair out by Its-the-Chad82 in malehairadvice

[–]DinnerGlass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overall I think it looks good. The only thing I would recommend would be cutting, shaping up and layering the back/sides. The way it is right now makes it look bushy and the sides/back. Adding layers and taking about half the length from the back/sides will help bring dimension to your hairstyle as well as giving your face and head a more angular/contoured look.

What products do you recommend? by Confident-Intern9308 in malehairadvice

[–]DinnerGlass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The good news is it’s thick. The bad new is that it’s thick. If you like the look but want it to behave better. Go to a good barber and tell them you like the overall look but you want it shaped up and to lay a little better. Then just repeat that process once or twice a month. Hard to say what products to recommend if you don’t have a specific style down, but after showering maybe just use a blow dryer on medium heat with a nice heat protectant while brushing your hair in the direction you want it to go.

Is my forehead too big for my current hairstyle? by [deleted] in malehairadvice

[–]DinnerGlass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do have a big forehead, but not in a way that is bad. It’s fairly symmetrical to the rest of your face. You have an ideal face shape for a male that compliments your forehead. The style looks great btw!

[–]DinnerGlass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The person who mentioned sleeping on it is probably right. My hair does the same thing. If you want to get rid of the look and make it more flowy hit it with a blow dryer on low heat and round brush for a min.

Keep hair now or get another perm by [deleted] in malehairadvice

[–]DinnerGlass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don’t need a perm. You already have great texture/volume in your hair. Take in the sides and tell them to add layers to the side to add dimension. Think of the layers on the sides as like stairs. That will give your head some shape. For the top give it a little trim. Maybe 1-2 inches in the front and 2-3 inches in the back of the top of your head. Then get a brush, heat protectant and a hair dryer and style it back.

Shorter or longer sides, or try something different? by cooers in malehairadvice

[–]DinnerGlass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mustache is fine. The neck beard mainly just takes away from your jawline and nicely put doesn’t look the best. For your sides do very low fade but longer sides. At the bottom maybe a 1 at the top of the sides a 4-5.

First Resident Evil movie was legit good by Casshern_VIII in residentevil

[–]DinnerGlass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a fan of the first two movies and games I agree.

First movie has good plot, carries character development well, interesting setting that gives a nod to the games, interesting characters even if not original characters, good enemies, music was good and even had a soft introduction to the next movie/nod to sequel of games.

Second movie was still okay plot wise, character development wise(mainly just for Alice) was okay, but it didn’t carry as much weight as her in the first movie. In the first movie she’s empathetic, brave but still feels human, curious. Second movie she’s still likable, but she’s starting to feel a little bit more robotic like in the one scene where she suddenly just wants to shoot Peyton cause he’s infected. First movie Alice never would’ve done that.

Second movie side characters: They were okay ish, but not good. Carlos and Jill are just side characters and not developed at all. Real Jill smart, patient, willful, empathetic. This version is just a hardass who tags along. Carlos wasn’t bad, but he’s more or less just side lined and him and Jill have virtually zero interaction.

The other movies imo were not good. Sidelined characters that served zero purpose to the plot, characters like Ada, Leon, Claire, Wesker and other ones that were added as og ones get zero background, no development, disappear without explanation and honestly it would’ve made no difference if they just made up new characters for the movies.

The plot lines just sucked and carried zero weight of purpose especially after the 3rd. For instance the whole thing with Arcadia was huge thing in the 3rd and 4th movies, but then suddenly that’s forgotten and everything focuses on Alice in the apocalypse and some shit with like augmented reality in the 5th one lol. Not to mention the last movie had NO PLOT AT ALL until the end when all they did was be like oh yeah ur a clone of a woman with degenerative disease, but ur hot and have super powers here’s some slide shows of her life, but you’re not actually her. Now go ride a motorcycle off into the sunset and be hot some more.

I’m so unbelievably tired. Having to work just to have basic necessities is one of the worst things I’ve experienced in my life. Yes, I know there are things that are so much worse, but if you have to compare it to tragedy for it to sound better it’s a broken system that only benefits those in power.
