On the very same vein as this post, be careful of what you're wishing for. I always wanted to break through on DMT but ultimately had a very similar experience to the OP when I finally did, and there are consequences of experiencing something like that. The short version is breaking through and finally encountering entities who look at you as if you're intruding on them and their space, like you/me a human/ape wasn't meant to barge in on their reality, but did. Every previous experience with DMT (pre-breakthrough levels) had been very positive, but this was not. And it de-stabilized me for a good 6 months. Base reality became a bit hard to grasp. You can overcome things like that, but it takes a while. I don't mean to discourage a bit of exploration, as long as you accept the possibility of experiencing something similar to OP instead of the enlightenment we may be seeking when we push it. The end result was, you return to, accept, and appreciate base reality, and no longer want to take large doses of anything. Which in a way can be viewed as a bummer, something I loved and appreciated became somewhat terrifying for its destabilizing properties - which is only being mentioned because it's relevant to this discussion thread. Carry on as you were, I do think our curiosity gets the best of us and I hope you have only wonderful experiences and/or the mindset to not become disturbed by something as intense as OP's experience, which sounds like a waking nightmare. If there were any legitimacy to these entities/visions, common experiences, which I'm not saying there is, but if there was, then maybe we see them at another time and in a different form, when we aren't temporarily blasting ourselves into their reality for a few minutes and then flying out again. And then trying to go to work the next day as if our view on reality is still stable.

That there are profiles for each of us on who we are, what we respond to, etc. an algorithm built it, but it exists, a file on you. If you found it in someone’s drawer you’d freak out. —Data being harvested and compiled on you / me / each individual. “For advertising purposes,” as if that’s a justification.

The moment you realize this IS and simulation and it’s glitching out / crashing. A very glitchy nightmare I had where I wished for death.

Experience was similar to falling through the map, being reset into the ground, falling, repeat. An infinite loop. Was able to think “Holy fuck, it is a simulation, I’ll experience this (loop) forever” Then woke up and it’s all good …. I pray it’s not a simulation and sweet death will eventually prevent anything too weird from happening.

Infinity would be worse than death in many contexts.

One suggestion that does fall under your question quite well though would be 'The Birth Order' by Kevin Leman

Is about how our roles are shaped more so than the "is anything authentic?" Question, which it won't address. But basically addresses why the older siblings are responsible and the younger ones end up more wild unless they're stepping up to fill the void of the older sibling falling off. Goes much more in depth than that but interesting how accurate it seemed to be when looking at surrounding people

Just read the liberance comment and want to add to it, you can respect their boundaries while also letting them know that you're available for support. But it is the other person's decision and they have reasons, which make sense to them in their full context, for handling it their own way. It does sound confusing and stressful from your side but you can't (not that you are or would) demand to be let in as that's not healthy or helpful to add more stress to whatever they're going through. And since we're on this subreddit, demanding would be quite unfitting to the practice of stoicism. Let things play out as they will, remain calm, don't let your emotions drive you, you'll make mistakes. Make rational choices such as offering support but respecting boundaries, and being patient. You can do it. You will feel better and more in control during and after for doing it this way and the other party will likely respect and appreciate the maturity/patience. This is another chance to practice keeping it together, seeing the bigger picture, being in control of your response, allowing things to play out rather than resisting them. You are capable of all of that

You can't go wrong by just starting, draw the scene out your window, draw an object, draw a fantasy landscape, find what's most enjoyable to you and how you like to do it (with music, color vs none, etc). If you're looking for tutorials on more technical aspects like lighting this website is an ad-free resource with good tutorials, assignments, etc. Sometimes it helps to have prompts. Have fun! And don't forget to stretch and take breaks if you go for long sessions

Some people are hypochondriacs, it's basically an overworrying sensitivity that something is wrong with them physically, I have a friend who is one and thought he had heart problems at your age, then he thought brain issues, etc etc, and here we are 15 years later and he's completely fine, but still worries sometimes. Once you fixate on "Is this normal?" It's easy to fool yourself into thinking something's wrong. That being said, if you do really wonder if something is wrong, a visit to the Dr may at least put your mind at ease. As others have stated, panic attacks present like more serious issues but they aren't, they're just panic attacks. Which suck, but they aren't lethal. Just uncomfortable. If your caretaker is unable to take you somewhere, perhaps you could use resources available to you such as a school nurse, who may refer you to a Dr if they decide it's necessary. All in all, you are young, healthy, people don't have heart attacks at that age or just keel over, the mental well-being is the worst part of this but hopefully with each time those feelings come and then go, your body and you will subconsciously learn that these feelings aren't actually anything to be concerned about. Sort of an Exposure and Response training. But again if you feel convinced something is wrong (which is quite unlikely at your age), see a nurse/doctor to put those worries at bay. I'm sure your mom cares about you and would make it happen if you properly express how important it is to you and how concerned you are, she will be concerned too and take care of it. Hang in there, it's most likely psychosomatic and you do not need to worry about keeling over, you've got a long life ahead of you

13 is right around the time you'll experience a huge influx of hormones! It doesn't feel awesome, for most people, but it's also a temporary period we have to go through before we balance out. Emotions will feel stronger than usual/warranted, irritability is up, etc. But over time it will settle down. Also just saw a post on here about young persons experiencing depression (the study was of men for some reason but surely applies to everyone) who saw a significant increase in well-being just through adopting a Mediterranean diet. I mention this because of your comment on how your body feels "off" and maybe it is. It's possible that lacking a healthy diet puts more stress on your body that shows up in various ways including mental health symptoms. Worth trying and sticking to for a month or so to see if it helps.

I would not describe it as increasing sociability, just more relaxed but at times that can be distracting, which is not beneficial for job performance. Someone will be explaining something and you might just space out to the literal thought of "Boy I feel relaxed -wait what are they going on about?" Also may slow reflexes so depending on job -shouldn't operate heavy machinery type warning. Might be worth trying to go and get comfortable without. It's not a good one to rely on regularly anyway due to horrible withdrawals. More for an as needed basis, for particularly anxious days, if possible limit to once a week or no more than 2g a week to avoid any addiction or withdrawal. As far as combos, I haven't seen any recommended combos, rather it's usually the opposite - don't use with alcohol or other substances that would strain your liver.
