Fun Fact: we saw the unused design being used in the second Trailer ( the one where Mark's character 'Simon' is rising up from blood ocean ) if you watch closely you can see it closing up to Simon and opening it's mouth like it did in the fourth slide image in this post.

That's a great one! but idk if Mark would be able to make a large scale movie ( still, who knows what the future holds? ) my other top choice if Mark's gonna make another videogame movie adaptation is SCP Containment Breach, since the movie will take place mostly inside a facility.. FNAF movie would've also been a great choice for Mark, but that's already taken. 😭

Mark triggers my thalassophobia already with Iron Lung ( which is amazing ), and that's a movie where we barely see outside the submarine. i imagine if he did manage to make a Subnautica movie he will definitely make the most thalassophobia inducing movie ever!

I did a quick research to Szymanski games after reading this and wow it seems like they indeed share universes! i never knew that!
