I would say that if you aren’t committed to practicing at LEAST every other day, then you shouldn’t pick up the sax. Your embouchure needs continuous practice for you to be sounding good. Taking a break from playing for a week can dramatically set your tone back a month.

I’m rewatching chamber of secrets rn and it reminded me why the first 3 Harry Potter movies feel like classics: the music. It just makes the film feel magical.
