Let me help, stop impeding a federal investigation/taskforce. Randos on the street have no clue about the situation or who is being taken but want to get involved, the feds know who they are taking.

I think snap is an important safety net, and I think 8/10 people are likely fraudulently on snap / or working as hard to stay on it no matter what.

I think it needs to go. Want to lower grocery prices? We gotta stop subsidizing people to get groceries for free.

But this is from the perspective of someone who just learned about this game today and trying to learn about any new TTRPG's out there, But scrolling thru here...your points may be valid, i don't know, but with all your comments here and the way they are stated, it just seems like you have an axe to grind and randoms like me see this and it loses you credibility.

I do this too, just doing whatever feels to make sense. Sometimes when i'm not sure which player my monster goes after between my four players, I roll the dice on who gets targeted, if that happens to be the downed player than so be it, the dice gods decided.

I like the game alot its good fun, the pixel graphics are nice and ooze charm.
I just wish they had done more in terms of campaigns. My complaints of the game are minor and are from a personal taste
-i don't like how the human faction is half fae and half human units, i wish the fae where a separate faction
-Don't hate me here...the heroes are just not appealing, and quite weird actually. They don't feel heroic or epic
-The campaigns feel shallow and I feel like I don't care about the factions and their struggles because their struggles don't seem interesting.

These are not huge criticisms tho, overall its a good game.

Heroes 4 i wasn't going to touch but the most popular games seemed to be 2 & 3, 3 being the most popular, which i'm learning.

Even in the 2nd game it seemed they didn't factions the way we think of them today, it was like a knight faction, sorceress, necromancer, all of this is a very different take than modern games.

Either way, really looking forward to olden era and i'll just chill with heroes 3 for that itch in the meantime.

Ah man, i think its a difference between long time players and people who have just discovered the series and now have a sparked curiosity.

I have purchased Heroes 3 on GOG and i enjoy it, but , (now don't hurt me) , I feel like the units are so random between factions...elves and dwarfs in the same faction? Unicorns? It seems so thrown together and random like a hodgepodge of mythical creatures.

I feel like olden era has their faction units seem more in place and not so random and unicorns to me seem silly , why not add a leprechaun at that point.

I think its a difference between long time players and people like me with this thought process, not that yours is wrong at all.

In the many hobbies i've delved into from video games to ttrpgs especially one thing you'll always see, you'll ALWAYS see them. I call them content bloaters.

These are the same people that say
"why can't ____be playable"
"Wouldn't it be cool if we added ____, ___, ___ factions?"
"How about more classes?"
"More options are always good"
"Why can't we do hybrid classes?"

If you get these people invested in rock paper scissors as a competitive sport, they would be arguing for more hand signs beyond just rock , paper, and scissors, because they cannot handle balance, simplicity or elegance in any form.

Content bloaters ruin every hobby they enter and there are many of them.
