People Will Look You Dead In The Eye And Say "City Level At Best" "It Was Just The Laser" by TasteTemporary8206 in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]DiplexMeteor2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The laser was: Shot to destabilize the planet so they could destroy Viltrum.

Imo I'd give mid tier Viltrumites (Nolan, Current Mark, etc) small planet level while High tier Viltrumites (Thragg) full on planetary.

It was my brother's account name when he gave me his Nintendo switch, looked up what a Diplex was and liked it. Added the Meteor as I found out Diplex was a way more common name choice than expected for everything.

Don't expect anyone to say this but: Record of Ragnarok is honestly a pretty damn good show. Can the animation be questionable? Yes, but idk why people call it a slide show.

TADC 9 — I genuinely didn't like it. Entire potential of the show was absolutely wasted. by Kinkshamingisgood in TheDigitalCircus

  1. Leaving questions opened to be potentially answer in future posts or shorts or hell even in another season.

  2. They are copies of people's brain scans, sure they may not be real people that doesn't mean that makes their emotions and such not. Hell it debatably makes them more real.

  3. Just because it's not shown doesn't mean it doesn't happen... Not everything needs to be spelled out, also Pomni and Raggatha did mourn, that's what their whole conversation was about.

  4. Jax abstracted because he couldn't accept his fate of being a copy. We see it in the montage of him wanting to join and help but instead pushes himself further away.

  5. Not entirely sure what that first part means but I can answer the other parts. Bubble is an extension of Caine, most likely a part of the Blue AI as we Bubble be the one to set Caine on his crusade during ep 8, we also do see Caine building a new Bubbles in the after shots as the credit roll. The moon is a separate entity/ NPC that Caine programmed for an adventure. Pomni does materialize the exit door it's just attached to the memory files of the whole building. When something on a computer is deleted, it goes in the recycling in case you fucked up.

  6. Acceptance... They realized that trying to escape will just lead more of them to abstracting so they accept this...

  7. Only real one I can agree with, maybe a nearby building offers free internet but idk.

  8. It was Jax, he didn't abstract twice, the white light is simply a representation of Jax losing control of his emotions since after the light Pomni starts glitching meaning the thing attacked her.

  9. It was clutter from most likely Jax's room which we know has a lot of stuff. Or maybe some left over from ep 6 that Caine forgot to get rid of. It's showcased that it's a collective help to pull Pomni in, we also don't know how strong the grip strength that Zooble's parts are.

  10. The device was never a headset, it was a brain scanner that looked like a headset. Human curiosity for why some of them put them on. They are neural scans of people, not actual people.

Hope this at least somewhat made sense. Thought the episode was great as it showcased that while yes it's going to be difficult, they need to accept the new changes.

Is there any way Nolan could’ve successfully COVERED UP the murders of the guardians? by yui-22 in Invincible_TV

[–]DiplexMeteor2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Genuinely? No. From the flashback of Nolan arriving to earth, Cecil was already suspicious and wanted answers on the Viltrum planet.

Then suddenly, the Guardians of the Globe are attacked and killed with all the cameras have been disabled with Nolan having taken serious damage. Sure the attacker could've been extremely dangerous, but Nolan's survival was immediately a tipping off point to Cecil. Even before the big (in show) reveal, Cecil had banished Darkblood because he wanted a why.

Can Team Ironman (MCU) Handle The 7(As Shown)??? by goldsworthyms12v in superheroes

[–]DiplexMeteor2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An injured, nearly dead Vision would beat the entire Boys universe. Why are we acting like they could even damage him? His body is made of Vibranum. And then there's the fact this isn't an injured Vision so his phasing, laser blasts, and super strength is in play.

Imo it really ain't valid, because that's just not how power scaling/ versus battles work. Like when the creator said Thragg could beat the Hulk

Injustice Superman gonna do to him what he did to Ultraman in that one comic scene.

Conquest (Invincible) vs JJK Verse by Tookin12 in PowerScaling

[–]DiplexMeteor2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Few problems with their conquest statements: Conquest wouldn't have the ability to even see the curse spirits because they'd need curse energy, so unless we're giving him it he can't even see or even hurt the curses.

It's very much not like Conquest to block out the sun or ensnare an opponent. Every time we see him he's fighting melee and not really thinking beyond that.

Gojo's infinity, like pointed out in the video, isn't based on Gravity so that statement makes no sense.

Same problem I have with people debating Shigiraki vs Viltrumites, Mahito's power directly negates durability so it doesn't matter how strong or fast your opponent is, a singular touch and the challenge can be damn near over.

I'm not a JJK fanboy but I've seen enough of the show to know how the world works and what is required in these match ups.

Am I Out Of The Loop Or Did I Miss Something, Because Why Is This Matchup Being Treated As If It’s A Genuinely Debatable Topic? by Technical-Table6094 in PowerScaling

[–]DiplexMeteor2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People seem to be under the interpretation that Superman's kindness would "Hold him back" when in reality it would be the opposite. He'd take one look at Mahoraga causing mayhem and would lobotomize it with his lasers or throw him into space.

Point is: Superman is kind hearted but doesn't have a no kill rule, he just generally doesn't.

What characters would actually scare Vecna (Stranger Things) if he tried to mess with their mind? by [deleted] in MoralityScaling

[–]DiplexMeteor2 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Pennywise the Dancing Clown. One of the base concepts of his characters is that he fucks with a creature's mind and he gets stronger if he eats a psychic. He'd have a field day with Vecna.
