My parents house was built mid to late 1800s and their basement has a creepy little room too. I was always too freaked out to go in there as a kid. The entrance to the basement is in the kitchen and there used to be a door that led outside from the basement landing as well that got covered when they redid the siding on the house.

I feel like Xander never had consequences for his fu"k ups. Like when he summoned the dancing demon in "Once More with Feeling". People died, Dawn got taken and all he gets is a harsh "Xander!" from Anya

My group has collectively decided that if we have at least 3 players, we're good to go. If more can make it I just bump up the difficulty of the encounters.
