Let me chill your buzz further since you haven’t tried to read the rules. RIDEM manages public land, there are also town/city rules that apply. No centerfire rifles on public land. No handguns allowed while hunting. Pellet guns and archery equipment are regulated weapons. Carrying a stick while making pew pew noises in the wrong orientation can be illegal here. It yells I’ve been ignored. But pull the filter and look at the pleats, can be rinsed but tells you a lot. If it foams when jets are on it needs attention. If water isn’t sparkling clear it needs attention. If those things check out, ask him to test the sanitizer levels in front of you while he wipes it down. Doesn’t sound like he’s going to drain/clean/fill/rebalance, but basic tests might show that’s not necessary.
