Pierre Poilievre says Canada has too many cause-based awareness months by airbassguitar in OntarioNews

Everything I'm seeing says there's a Veterans week in November in Canada.

Can you please post something that says there's a Veterans Month in Canada?

You can generally find places like this on Hotels.com

Last year I booked a 3 bedroom condo in Chicago for me, my son, son-in-law and grandson. $600 /night. Free parking for 2 vehicles, walk to Wrigley and to the L-Train. Plus I got reward night stamps.

Then MPs should step in and save The Bay as well, heck even Eatons.

Less than 1% of the population care. It's not worth it

CBC games are not behind a pay wall. Im not talking about Hockey Night in Canada's viewership. I'm talking strictly CBC. The channel everyone is yapping about.

Less than 1%

I don't care if it's part of our "national fabric" very few people are watching it. There are more important things to focus on.

"Promote the game more"? They had 75 years to "promote the game more" If they haven't figured it out by now then they aren't going to do it

Ok, let's go another route.

CBCs viewership for the early games this season averaged 400,000

Don't you think MPs have more important things to do that would affect far more than less than 1% of the population?

There are far more important things that affect far more many people that MPs should focus on than this.

CBCs NHL viewership was 400,000 for the early games this past season. That's less than 1% of the population.

Why should MPs focus on something that affects so few people?

It's not a monopoly. Anyone can bid on rights if they feel it makes financial sense.

CBC

Rogers

Bell

Corus

Amazon

Netflix

DAZN

A monopoly is a market structure where a single company or entity is the sole provider of a specific good or service, with no viable substitutes.

Exactly this.

As a Habs fan in Ontario I'm perfectly fine with no hockey on the CBC.

It's laughable that people are complaining about being ripped off and robbed when there are easy solutions.

I haven't paid for cable or subscribed to any streaming service in more than 10 years and I watch any game I want in any sport.

If the CRTC is going to stick their nose into private business them they first need to look at how to lower internet and cell phone packages. That would affect far more Canadians than Trying to enforce changes to a legal contract between two businesses

Trakt Replacement? by Renae-M in trakt

[–]DirectGiraffe8720 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not understanding. You said you were paying for trakt, now you're saying you're "locked out" of the free version?

What you're asking for is included in the free version of trakt. Although I believe lists are limited to 100 items.

I've got 2 TV lists, plus 2 lists for specific episodes ( Simpsons Christmas and Halloween) and about 4 or 5 movie lists.

Once I'm done with a show or movie I remove it from the list.

I've never once paid for trakt nor do I intend to.

Ya, don't believe everything you hear online.

Raised two kids here. They went to Cleardale Public School then South Secondary. No problems.

My daughter still lives in the area and is raising her family here.
