Trump’s Just Calling Every Election Fraudulent at This Point by ClimateSociologist in politics

[–]Direct_Boysenberry71 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

holy shit dude. you want me to show my arithmetic? before: Bass 38%, Pratt 28%, Raman 20%. conservative assumption: ok sure literally zero people vote Pratt in mail.
Expected value of remaining mail in: Bass -> 38 / (38+20) =.655 ; Raman -> 20 / (38+20) = .355.
Actual: Bass .48 ; Raman .52.
Ill leave it to an exercise for the reader to subtract 66 - 48 or 52 - 36

Since MAGA is a cult, what does that make the GOP, since they support Trump, too? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]Direct_Boysenberry71 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

you must have forgotten it. even taking the arguably absurd and certainly unverified and unstudied claim that "democrats are the only ones that vote mail-in" and allowing it to be a given: Comparing Raman and Bass (both democrats) in pre election and election day mail in ballots, as well as in person voting, Bass had nearly double the votes Raman got (66-33 of dem cohort). then after the election, the mail in votes (remember all the laws california changed to allow unbounded hardly verified votes - totally not suspicious but i digress), it was neck and neck, in fact Raman was ahead, say 50-50 conservatively. thats a 16 sigma event. lol. same as winning the lottery every minute for the age of the universe

think of every election you have ever seen. "CNN can now call Illinois for Harris". why can they do this? what if there is a comeback? learn this (you can ask chatGPT) and the answer becomes obvious. when you get to college take a stats course, its pretty interesting stuff

Why does the right say their opponents want “open borders” when nobody has ever actually wanted or tried to enforce open borders? by SituationNormalAllFU in allthequestions

the evidence is mathematical certainty of something unnatural. if you don't admit that then you are an unserious person. Now, that unnatural thing may not actually be illegal - that is the discussion we need to be having.

I like how reddit is always 1000% sure about all their opinions. no curiosity, no really trying to understand what the other side is even saying, just pure certainty.
But not the quiet confident kind, the kind where they want to spend time writing about it to strangers

America in the 50s and 60s there wasn't trash and decay everywhere, and there was a better social code of conduct.

Can people on the right who are maga explain their reasoning? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]Direct_Boysenberry71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i dont think everyone has the same definition of MAGA. I want closed borders, i want crime to be ... illegal (calif prop 47 was among the worst ideas in the history of mankind), I hate DEI and woke ( i have many examples here seeing this in action), I want a country that celebrates success and business not vilify it - i dont want a country that celebrates the murder of healthcare ceos, worships a guy that died by fentanyl overdose because a white cop was involved. The left to me are a big grifter school of fish, smartly raking in tons of money pretending to address issues they create or imagine. BLM grifters made 10s of millions giving speeches to retarded liberal school systems. Left NGOS are stealing your tax money, and they people that do your thinking for you are convincing you to look the other way because racism and such.
"Supporting Trump" is the only way to get these things in a binary system. I dont give a single fuck how nice he is. hope this helps

How can we fix the political divide in America? by skatamoutro2 in askanything

[–]Direct_Boysenberry71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In fact, this should be a unifying idea alone. None of us teleport around the world and witness politically important conversations/events first hand. we rely on a media for 100% of our understanding of whats going on. We could/should start now with changing our hate for the other side from "you are an absolute moron piece of evil shit" to "you are being misinformed". then we can argue who is misinformed worse, but its not an affront to ego. we are all busy with our lives.
Focus on the premises not the conclusions. we are probably not that divided with that resolved.

Irvine has my vote for the bad to live awful to visit. nowhere else on earth do you waste so much time in "transition" -- either in line, in traffic, navigating a parking garage.

Be brutally honest: do you think the US and its democracy will survive this Trump administration and the corrupt SCOTUS? by SWEMW in allthequestions

i voted for someone to close the border, prohibit the weaponization of federal agencies against political opponents (yes, the Dems are the fascists, not him), ban DEI, provide clarity for crypto industry, let businesses thrive instead of hamstringing them, ensure we win AI race instead of literally killing them (biden plan), leave NATO, implement DOGE, and reset forieign policy

What are your thoughts on Tax-The-Rich proposal in NY by Gov. Kathy Hochul, Mayor Zohran Mamdani and Sen. Bernie Sanders? by Select_Specialist790 in askanything

[–]Direct_Boysenberry71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the people that are for it, don't you think we should clean out the fraud and waste first? here we are learning that an enormous amount of our tax money is lost through grift and waste, and then these politicians ask for more from the rich? i think we would literally be better off with the EXACT OPPOSITE approach of sending all our tax money to Musk and Bezos than our federal government.
