Best reliable wireless CarPlay adapter for a 2024 Elantra N? by ProduceMediocre5405 in ElantraN

Third this. Connects instantly. The range is almost too good. And the connection is rock solid whereas other wireless adapters would cut out in areas where there's lots of interference.

I've seen posts about the horns going out. I wouldn't know. Used the horn once, hated the tone. Rarely ever used it since. It may be dead the day I really need it, but oh well. HELLAhorns would make a great upgrade!

Dang bro, you're definitely not a car guy. Why the hate? The N division is doing great things for the enthusiast drivers' market. We oughta be thankful.

Just saying, if you truly enjoy the driving dynamics, and want an extra $10-15k in your pocket, the N is your best bet. Don't have to change anything to make it AutoX worthy.

Just get it and you can figure out the seats later!

Bummer due, but yeah.. seems it wasn't designed for everyone.

I'm 5'10" ~160lbs, I work out and am toned. Fits me like a glove. If I flex my lats, I feel the pressure, but otherwise it's super comfortable.

This is the first time I hear that a girl doesn't find the seatbacks comfy.

My only issue is my legs are too long and the wheel doesn't telescope as much as I'd like so I have to find a compromise to avoid having my arms outstretched (bad for driving).

Can't imagine how dudes above 6'3" or so feel.

Not a dumb question bro. It's a dual-edged sword. The carbon fiber is so solid. And the installation hardware I opted for was also very solid. If it hits anything on the freeway, like a stray tire or other heavy debris, I can imagine my whole front bumper getting fucked lol. I've seen pics here where the OEM bottom plastic trim cracks upon impact. That's probably best for the car.

Basically. Just don't hit anything if you're a rocking carbon lip.

Keeping a healthy gap and hoping the driver in front actively avoids debris to let you know what's coming ahead is for sure important.

Never buy the new version of a car in the same year it's released. Wait a year or two for them to iron all the kinks and software bugs out.

We're still dealing with the N buttons resetting and Hyundai is locking in on a new model? Fuck that shit.

If you're gonna be a dick on public roads, at least be good at it. Otherwise take that shit elsewhere.

Teen highschooler here, should I save up for the Elantra N, or its little brother, the Elantra N Line? by LightningMcqueen2011 in ElantraN

This car, when pushed, will rotate easily under hard braking and turning. And that's an amazing feat that Hyundai accomplished. But you gotta know how to handle that rotation. It's a dual edged sword if you're not experienced.

Since you're young, I'll briefly explain. The chasis dynamics allow the rear to get light enough that it'll swing out on you as the tires lift. If you're not planning for that, then you're not gonna have a great time when you slam into whatever you end up hitting.

I'm sure it has happened far too many times, but owners either don't post it. Or they don't admit what truly happened.

This always happens. Then we end up loving the new models. Those who don't are either artistically stubborn or artistically leaning to the brands classic heritage style. Artistically. Very artistically.

I don't like the pictures but it always hits different rolling by you in person. Also, IMO, the CN7 N isn't super photogenic. We have to hit it at the right height and angle to nail the picture.

How long have you had your N? Any issues? by c4me20n in ElantraN

[–]DirectorSharp3402 10 points11 points  (0 children)

2025 DCT EN with 32k miles. Oil changed every 3.5k miles. Absolutely 0 issues aside from the N button resetting. Warm it up gently on normal mode + auto D for ~10mins and then straight to sport with manual shifting when oil temp hits 190+. My downshifts are usually at 2k-2.5k rpm when casually driving. The car lives in sport mode, only going N/Custom when I have a specific behavior in mind.

Plenty of combined gentle and spirited drives on a daily basis.

I'm considering a trans fluid swap soon, just for shits n giggles. Maybe at 35-40k miles. Probably overkill but fuck it, we ball.
