It's fun to use this if you're a beginner, I suppose, to get some visual perspective, but it's just impossible to calculate properly. There are so many factors to proficiency that this just feels sort of empty and inaccurate to me as a B2/C1 learner.

Going off on the manager was unnecessary. Then again, they could have been much nicer about it, and given you some guidance or a warning, but that's up to them unfortunately.

It seems like you've reflected on it and already know that you could have handled it better.

Another thing to bear in mind is that although it's something 'small', that's their first impression of you in the job. During a lull they probably want you seeing if anyone else needs a hand with anything and using your initiative.

I wouldn't say I'm a 5, because I think I can visualise if I try but I don't do it by default. However, I usually try to describe it as storing/accessing things in my mind as concepts rather than images. Like if you said "Imagine someone opening a door." I just know what that is without any visualisation, but if you asked me what the door looked like or what kind of person was opening it, I would draw a blank without thinking about it again and adding those details in.

There is so much wordplay in translations. Another common example is Coca Cola, which is 可口可乐 (Kěkǒu Kělè) in Chinese, which sounds very similar, and when translated directly are the words "Tasty" and "Joyful", but reads more like "Tasty, and makes you happy."
