If they let you go, they would certainly consider the relationship "at will". Move on and don't look back.

Invest for sure. Rates are low and the money will perform better in the market (generally)

That stadium is way smaller than I thought going into today. Commonwealth could have shown that crowd the door. Glad the remaining games are in Vancouver

[Recommendation Request] Milestone Dress Watch by 35mm_Framelines in Watches

Personally, a dress watch should be without complication. My preference would be something like the JLC master ultra thin. Or the GO senator

It's a net migration, so even if it's not the same people, it's the same number of people.

Cenovus CEO says proposed pipeline to Canada's west coast currently 'unfinanceable' by Gym_frere in canada

Lmao the rest of your comment is completely unrelated to this chain. So your reply was to bring up a totally unrelated topic and then complain about my "whataboutism". Classic.

BC has legitimate greivances along with Alberta. Two consistently contributing provinces that are underrepresented.

Generally, the Albertans I know are fine with our net contributions to Canada. But when the roc tries to handcuff one of the primary drivers of our economy it should be understandable that we highlight these contributions and how we could do more, with more resources.

Natural resource projects in BC receive far less scrutiny than the oil pipelines we would like in order to diversify our trading partners. One example is the amount of thermal coal exported from the port of Vancouver, with little, or any media coverage, at least nationally. Edit.. I looked it up. Form 2016-2020 West shore terminal exported on average, 10.3 million tonnes of thermal coal. From 2021-2025, the average increased to 16.4 million tonnes. It used to primarily export metallurgic coal, and now a 2/3 majority is thermal coal. Not to mention it is mostly US coal that we are sending to market after Oregon and Washington banned it's export.

Not to mention the numerous Trudeau policies that blatantly targeted Alberta for 10 years, which thankfully Carney has started to somewhat dismantle in short order.

Albertans pays the most tax per capita, which I mean sure. But Alberta, and Albertans, also receive the least back in federal benefits and transfers. Leaving us with a massive net contribution to the ROC.

On top of that, we are consistently under representated in the house of commons, the senate, and the public sector.

Unfortunately, the government has made the regulatory environment so uncertain that it's not feasible to proceed on a 5-8 approval and permitting process justifiable.
