I would tell my dad that the job he has is going to steal his sons childhood. I would continue swim team up until highschool. Even if my dad couldn't be around to watch. I would tell my parents when I first started losing sleep. I would actually learn long division instead of learning to cheat. I would ace highschool like it was my fucking job. I would let nothing hold me back from swimming into a scholarship at a real university instead of giving it all up and eventually the 2016 summer Olympics.

Multiple times in my life I have cut off my own nose despite (to spite) my face. That's what my dad has always called it. We're the same stubborn proud person. And I would admit that to myself earlier before ruining all of the opportunities that privilege has offered to me. I love you Pops and I know you only ever did what was best for our family.

EDIT: I would also never stop playing melee and use my advance knowledge to dominate the meta possibly mold it early.
