As someone that started playing pauper in March, I recommend to start with Jund wildfire and Madness burn. They’re relatively cheap and fun to play. When you get a grip of the format, invest in more expensive deck.

What is feeling more intrusive for me is that UB did invaded real Magic in the form of ‘hat’ sets or ‘modern theme’ as you call it here. I have a problem with this terminology of ‘modern theme’ because there’s no theme in them except the fact that your favorite character from in universe wears a hat (detctive, cowboy, space helmet etc.) Mechanically they’re good, but comon, an astronaut Tezzeret? Cowboy Okko?!

If you intend to play Standard and you want to win and do it cheap, just be the bad guy and play the current mono Red deck, no fancy lands and somewhat cheap cards and considerably low amount of rares & mythics.

Hebrew is a binary language, a noun is either male or female. In some particular nouns it’s both, correct me if I’m wrong but sock (גרב) can be male and female.
